Wednesday trips to the comic shop are nice. The geekiest thing I do is plan my wednesday around a trip to the comic shop. I have a small pull list, but I always go on wednesday because I never know when something unexpected is coming out, and I don't want it to sell out on me. Well, that's the excuse. The real reason it that it's fun, and I like being a "regular" at the shop, chopping it up with the guys that work there about comics and stuff...it's just a good time overall.
Plus there's an awesome Greek restaurant nearby, and they have the greatest gyros.

I had a glass of red wine from Lebanon last night that was absolutely lovely. VERY nice. Who'd've thought it? Lebanon.

Animal Planet is a nice cable TV network. Sometimes sad, sometimes exciting. Never mean, though. And they have puppies and kitties and baby duckies.

I think White Rose is very nice unless she’s yelling at me or I get a headache form the animation and graphics on her live journal.
I also think that Creote and Savant are nice. Oh sure they will kidnap, extort and cripple you but they do so with a certain panache and generally full of civility and mirth toward their “guests.” |
