I'm curious to see who the favourite Spider-Man artists are on these boards. I'm not going to do a poll, because there are too many options. Instead, I'd like you to simply make a post saying who your favourite is. Discuss it if you like, or not. I'll edit this post after a while and compile the results.
To make the vote counting easy, please use the following format in your message: My vote: Artist Name Here Put that at the top of your post. If you want to make subsequent posts to discuss anything, feel free - just only put that "My vote" part in your first post in this thread so I can count them easily. Notes: - Remember, post your favourite artist out of all Spider-Man artists. You are not limited to the ones listed below (which are just the ones people have mentioned so far). - Your post will not be counted if you put up a "tie". If you have more than one "favourite" just pick your most favourite (Of course it is still interesting to hear what other artists you've enjoyed). The tally so far (up to and including post #32) _______________________________________ John Romita Jr.__ ||||| |||| Mark Bagley_____ |||| John Romita Sr.__ ||| Steve Skroce____ || Erik Larsen______ || Steve Ditko_____ | Humberto Ramos_ | Mike Wieringo____| Last edited by MrPalen; 09-14-2005 at 09:03 AM. |

My Vote: Steve Skroce
He had one of the most energetic portrayals of Spider-Man I've ever seen, and his action scenes were intense. C'mon, the guy helped design the fight scenes for the Matrix movies, and even did the storyboards. The scene that nailed it for me was where Spider-Man grabbed a set of tires with his feet, ran with them on his feet and caught a criminal with them! |
