Default What's It Worth?

Ok, I have the Wichblade #500 mail-in Wizard comic in the plastic WITH Cert. of authenticity.

Oh, and it's signed by Dan Fraga...

What's something like that worth?

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Hate to tell everyone this but, the collectors market is dead. I'm sure someone out there would disire it, but if you bought it through a magazine nobody's going to pay more then a few bucks more then what your paid for it. And if alot got printed/ordered, it could even be worth less.

And Witchblade #500? Witchblade hasn't been around long enough to reach 500.

It was a special mail-in, and it takes place in the future. So yes, there is a Witchblade #500 out there. I don't happen to have a price guide here at the moment, but most of the Wizard mail ins are 'book value' between $5 and $15.

:)

Ah so it's also a Gimick book, further degrading it's long term survivability in the collectors market.

Unless it had a real kick ass story (which, being Witchblade I'm in serious doubt off) I'd cut my loses and get that book sold ASAP.

The Collectors Market is Dead, Comics are a terrible place to plan to make a profit in your purcesses in the long run. Value in Comics comes from Scarcity and demand. Anything published after, like, 1980, isn't going to be worth a heck of a lot unless it has historical sigifigence. And after 1990, not even that can save most.

PS: If it's a Wizard book, don't trust Wizard's price guide on it (heck don't trust Wizards prices on Anything) they will inflate it, HEAVILY to simulate demand.

Default Witchblade: Witch Hunt

This was a really good story. I enjoyed it a lot.

It was fast-paced and had a lot of action. It also had some great character moments. The script and dialogue were tight.

The art was FANTASTIC! Absolutely gorgious.

Am I alone in loving it?

Default Witchblade question about #'s 70-75

I used to read this book but dropped it due to a lack of money. But before I dropped it there was a contest happening that had readers vote for a group of characters not to be killed off. Does anyone know who was killed off?

Kenneth Irons and Tora No Shi.

By the way, Witchblade right now is better than its ever been. Ron Marz is doing fantastic work with this title. His opening arc - #80-85: Witch Hunt - is brilliant. And Choi's art is absolutey gorgeous.

You owe it to yourself to pick this back up if you possibly can. It's better than its ever been. I mean it. Seriously.

Default Witchblade

Anyone here reading it? Anyone planning to get the November special (which is supposed to reveal what the Witchblade is, and contains art by George Perez!)

I'm new to Witchblade and have only read the past couple of issues, so far I've enjoyed them....I loved the one-shot of the ghost samurai.....and not too much of a fan of Bacahlo's work but the last issue was good all round as well...will continue reading....and being that I don't even know what the Witchblade is......I will definitely bw checking out the special...

Love what Ron Marz is doing with this series. He has made Witchblade great again.
