I've always been a casual Spawn fan over the years, borrowing Spawn comics off my friends. I enjoyed them, so I thought now I may as well buy some myself. Today I handed over 40 pounds, and will probably shell out another 30 soon, to my mate for a collection of near mint Spawn comics. He needed the money to spend at a comic convention in Bristol. The comics I got from him were #1-8, 12-53, 65-82, 88-90, 92-93. That's about 70 issues, and I'm planning to collect the rest. The first five issues are collected in a trade that has no other copies in Britain. Now I know not everyone on this board is a big fan of Spawn, but regardless of that, taking on the fact that I've read quite an amount of Spawn and really like it, do you think I've had a good deal here?

Nope, can't say I have. I saw it on DVD the other day and considered picking it up, but reading the comics is as far as I've explored Spawn.
