Default Superman/Batman Over?

When I go to the Superman/Batman Feature section of DCComics.com, it says about the current arc, "The action packed final 6-part story arc written by Jeph Loeb!" Does this mean Superman/Batman is coming to and end? Or am I just jumping to conclusions? Does it just mean Jeph Loeb is going to stop writing it? Any answers to this would be appreciated.

Also, what's the deal with #22 coming out in June and #21 coming out in July?

I thought I was the only one that noticed that.

No Geoff Johns, please. I love his work, but he's already writing FOUR monthlies. He's gotta drop one sooner or later.

Besides, I don't like his Batman. Johns doesn't seem to like the character.

Last I heard, David "JSA" Goyer was going to be the next writer on Superman/Batman.

I would be ok with that. I don't know if it'll be the same without Loeb's blatent Super/Bat worship going on. I guess I'll at least check it out. I just hope that the new writer leaves Supergirl out of it.

Frankly I'm more interested in who's drawing it.

Any word on that?

He's never done a Batman comic, for which I'm thankful. However, Batman's made appearences in Flash, Teen Titans, JSA, and now Green Lantern: Rebirth. Plus Johns is co-writing the next JSA arc, which will focus on Batman and the inner society of the JLA that mindwiped him. I can't say as I have huge expectations but hey, at least he has a co-writer this time around.

Loeb is making the best of Superman right now for DC. He definately knows how to handle Batman also. Unless they put some serious heavy hitter in as writer, I'm dropping this when Loeb leaves at 25.

It might have something to do with the fact I just can't stand Superman but Loeb makes me actually like the character.
