Currently? I really like what Kirkman is doing with INVINCIBLE and WALKING DEAD.
All time? Alan Moore on WILDC.A.T.S. and SUPREME while they were still Image titles. I've heard great things about 1963, too, but I've never read it. |

Right now I say Kirkman. Walking Dead and Invincible are two of the best comics out there.

B. Clay Moore, hands down.
HAWAIIAN DICK, THE EXPATRIATE, BATTLE HYMN. That's a pretty damn awesome line of books. Of course, Moore loses major points because all of his books are incredibly, horribly late. (In fact, the delays on BATTLE HYMN have been so frickin' annoying that I've decided not to bother picking up the rest of the series. But the first issue was damn good nonetheless.) |

Hmm, my votes go to Ron Marz and Frank Cho (whenever he gets his arse back from Red Sonja)

Well, I don't know if he's the best, but the only Image title I read is Invincible, so I'd say Robert Kirkman.
