Default Batman vs. Prometheus

I know when these 2 first met, Prometheus cleaned Batman's clock. Did they ever have a rematch?

Is that in Morrison's JLA? Because I can remember near the end of his run they did get some sort of a re-match when the new Injustice Gang atatcked the Watchtower. Batman won that encounted by downloading motor neuron disorder into Prometheus helmet and effectivly making him Stephan Halwking and then he took him out with one punch.

Then that would be their re-match. I didn't get that book, but it sounds good. Thanks....

Does anyone recall how Prometheus got out of that particular situation? Because until I get proof that he did, I refuse to believe that the guy currently wearing his armor in Gotham Knights is the same Prometheus. :p

Actually I think it is the real Prometheus. Think about how Batman left him: he deleted his martial arts skills, most likely confiscated everything in his crooked house (and if I was Batman, I'd bomb the place after stripping it bare), so however he recovered, he had to find a way to get at least some of his skills back, he doesn't have that uber-powerful nightstick you've noticed nor his Cosmic Key. He's gotta start from scratch. Right now, he's probably not half as skilled as before. So it makes sense he's getting punked left and right.

I was pretty pissed when I heard he became a loser in Gotham Knights, but bannermanonemillion's theory is pretty good.

I really hope he makes a comeback as Morrison envisioned him. Great villain.

Didn't he get his butt kicked? wasn't it a challenge for him? I don't remember

I thought he was OK. A lot of hype, yes, but it's hard to be a great villain when you announce how you're able to do certain things and the way of stopping you is so painfully obvious. He REALLY shoulda kept his mouth shut and I thought it he was spposed to be an evil Batman, he would have kept quiet. To my eyes, he has such a horrible, glaring weakness that it would be almost impossible not to clean his clock every time out.

The *real* secret of the DCU is that the 'evil Batman' is Lex Luthor -- he's got everything except the physical skills, and, quite frankly, Batman would get along just fine without those, too.

(or maybe the evil Batman is in fact Batman, which should scare the tights off pretty much every member of the JLA, but I digress)

When Batman and Luthor meet it's like a match made in Rumbles Heaven.

Ah, in Rumbles Heaven, there is no Jobberseid, no PIS and Jar Jar is a beige skin rug in Darth Vader's Rec Room. :D
