Liberty Meadows, where are you?

can someone please tell me if Liberty Meadows is still running? the last issue i got was 36. i know frank is doing shanna for marvel but does anyone know if and when he plans to return to LM?

I think it must be on an unofficial hiatus. Issue 36 was the most recent issue. Issue 37 has been solicited at least twice, but has never made it to the comic shops. I don't know if Mr. Cho plans on any issues in the near future. He's apparently working on Zombie King, which is to be published by Image.

I screwed the pooch big time on this one, Chief.

I basically bit off more than I can chew with Shanna, Zombie King and cover gigs. I'm drawing every day without a break to catch up and finish out Liberty Meadows #37 (Just need to write and draw 20 more strips) but it ain't happening until this summer.

But fear not Liberty Meadows will return in a big way later this year. Besides Shanna, Zombie King, etc, I'm putting together Liberty Meadows 4th collection book (Cold Cold Heart) and Liberty Meadows Big Fat Sunday strip collection book. Both of them will not be solicited until it's 100% finished and in the can so there's no more delays.

Sorry for the wait but just hold on alittle longer.

hearing that you will be coming back to what is my favourite book is more than enough to quench my fears. you keep writing and drawing 'em and i'll keep buying 'em (or borrow them of my friend and then forget to give them back)

Yes, this is good news, indeed. I only buy a handful of serialized comics nowadays, having mostly made the switch to trade paperbacks. But Liberty Meadows is one I still pick up whenever a new ish comes out. I have every issue except 1, 2, and 6. One of my all-time favorites.
