I looked for this thread in here and Avengers forum and didn't see one so I apologize if its a double. Strange is one of my favorite characters and I thought he should get a appreciation thread.

I might get it, i do love Doctor Strange...but 3.99 for 32 pages just isn't doing it for me.

I'll be buying this, but I'm sad we never got the ungoing. NOW is the perfect time for one, not so sure what I think of the 'new student' idea... I think Strange should be going out for himself.

Unless the student is Nightcrawler, or Clor...

I'd love to see some of Strange's past characters like Clea and Baron Mordo. Hell I'd love to see Eternity show up but I doubt he would. I wonder if the student is a new character or one we've seen before.

A bit pricey but it is a Dr Strange book so odds are I will get it. The cover looks sweet! And there is a most excellent writer working on the book to boot.

Are you saying Nightcrawler because you like the character or is there something going on with Kurt being a sorceror now?

Doctor Strange will also be appearing in an upcoming Fantastic Four special. Here's some preview art from Tom B. blog last month. I haven't seen yet when they plan to release it though. If I am not mistaken, it looks like Alan Davis on the pencils.

What I'm really looking forward to is Brendan McCarthy's Dr. Strange mini, but if Tomm Coker is joining Waid for his mini, I'll definitely pick that up as well. Coker is a very underrated artist in my opinion.
