I've been considering switching to mail order because I've been told that there are some better discounts to be had as opposed to my LCS. My only thing is what site best, and how long does one typically wait for the comics in the mail?

I use Discount Comic Book Service www.dcbservice.com Once-a-month shipping costs $5.95; If you don't want to wait, weekly shipping is roughly 3X that. Weigh that against how much you'd save on gas. The bigger your order, the lower the shipping cost/more average savings per issue.

I go with playthegamereadthestory.com . Roughly 20% off each book, free bag and board and spend $25 free shipping (media mail) takes abut 4 days to go from NY to IL. Also they throw in a free copy of Previews with a subscription of 5 or 10 books. I can't recall right now.
I used to use impulsecreations.com which was 25%-30% off, I think free shipping was a $50 min. Free bag and board. I switched to the other because shipping rates went up (I didn't spend $50) and it was a much larger company so less on a personal level if you wanted to ask something or had a problem. Hope that helps.
