I have a feeling Norbit will clean up this year.

It recently premiered on HBO and I foolishly tried to watch it. Ten minutes was as far as I could get.

Transformers deserved more nods up there.

And while I like the movie I'm surprised Spiderman 3 didn't get mentioned since so many seemed to hate it.

Lindsay Lohan looks like she'll take a few home this year.

Chuck and Larry... now, I'm not super into Adam Sandler movies anymore... but how did that one go so wrong? The situation was pretty lame, but it could have been funny... couldn't it? Eh, probably not.

Good Luck Chuck was absolutely TERRIBLE. The dialog was just awful... there was no chemistry between these 'lovers' and frankly, I'm tired of looking Jessica Alba. Never thought I'd say that. Dane Cook isn't funny anymore and this is a prime example of that. Spare yourself this one. Even the excess of breasts couldn't save this one.

If they did a worst kiss category, the creepy make-out on top of the sentient car at the end of the film would be a shoo-in..

I actually liked Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem. It was certainly better than some of the sequels that didn't get nominated.

Just looking over that list, most of the nominees except for two have been out on DVD for quite awhile now. That is something else they have over the Golden Globe nominees.

Ummm, this is the dumbest thing I've ever seen.

Apparently these people didn't like 5 films, so they refuse to acknowledge that anything was good in any of them.

I understand the hate of bratz and maybe norbit, but the rest couldn't be so offensive...

And epic movie probably didn't get enough nominations...

I Know Who Killed Me was that offensive. It was just horrible.

I like how they nominated Lohan for two roles in the same movie, but some of the other nominations seem to be just about hating on people who are popular. I can understand bashing Cage for his oddball Elvis-impersonating in Ghost Rider, but why National Treasure? Sure, Chuck and Larry sucked, but was Jessica Biel's performance actually a problem?

I've never heard of Bratz.

Not when she was in her undies.

Dialogue what dialogue?

Was I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry really so bad that it should be compared to the likes of Bratz and Good Luck Chuck? It's nominated in every single category. Surely some of those noms should go to Epic Movie.

This is just dumb.

How were the girls in "Bratz" the worst actresses? They were teenagers playing teenagers perfectly well in the fairly standard 'teen dramedy' category. The fact that the dudes at the Razzie's decided "Bratz" was such an atrocious film doesn't mean their performances were somehow inadequate. Same thing with Jessica Biel as 'the hot chick' in "Chuck and Larry."

The Razzie's aren't even funny anymore. They're just snarky and mean spirited attacks. "Look how many times we nominated Eddie Murphy! Aren' we clever?"

Anderson's AVP movies are better than anything he's done for Resident Evil. I think his rep is what earned those movies bad marks, not the films themselves.

TF only got one nomination? It should have swept the board, but since the CGI was great and Peter Cullen voiced Prime, the glorified Loony Toon chase movie that did'nt develop the TFs and focused more on the humans and relegated Megatron to the last fifteen minutes gets looked over. There's justice for you.
