Default New Exiles Preview

Right here:http://www.wizarduniverse.com/magazi.../007033321.cfm

Not as horrific that I imagined it would be but still doesn't make me want to give Claremont a chance with the book. And why is he so obsessed with the Fantastic Four? They are lame!

I'm guessing the FF dies in that accident, so the Stan Lee Mu goes horribly worng or something.

Nothing special there, average stuff.

"Over half a century later"

I don't think so.

Try "thirteen".

Wrong. On this earth the FF's first flight was in the late 50's.

Like I said on the Marvel Universe board...

New Exiles looks great. Love the 4 pages dedicated to showing the fundamental differences of the reality they'll be visiting. I hope that continues for each new storyarc. Looking good so far, most anticapted book of the week for me. Grummett's art and Claremont's story seem to mesh perfectly together.

How does what work? On that world the FF's first flight occured in the late 50's. Simple as that. They all die, other than Sue who's rescued from the crash by Namor as massive meteor strikes decimate most of the life on the surface. 50+ years pass from that point. Now 2008, the Exiles are going to visit.

This looks tres tres lame. I may pick it up, because I'll need me a Kitty fix, but it doesn't look very good.

Hi all!!

This is my first post here on CBR Forum, although i've been lurking here for sometimes.. :)

I'm very excited for New Exiles. While the other X-books looked 'uncertain' after MC, I think I'm looking forward for CC & Grummet in NEw Exiles.

Although I'm not too fond of the 'sort of FF/sue storm' story in the preview pages, I think we'll find the story to be different from the previous 2 'FF related' arcs.

The book looks great though. I'm loving CC and Tom Grummet pair..:)

Welcome to the boards, metalgorgomon.

Given the solicits, it's clear the story is different. Since the main thrust of the story deals with the Earth after the meteor imapact. Especially since all the FF are dead except for Sue, and 50+ years having passed. ;)

The Fantastic Four is the very foundation for the Marvel Universe. Without them, there's no Marvel Universe.
