I'm sure this has been discussed somewhere and I just haven't been able to find it yet, but can anyone explain to me what the premise of this new book is. And more importantly, is it different from Wolverine Origins?

Search is your friend. Basically it's like X-Men: First Class. Stories set in the past, during the period after Kitty Pryde joined. And is basically a team-up book between Wolvie and Kitty.
