As has been noted in previous years, the real fun of these Yuletide exercises is hearing the stories behind the selections. Here are links to the individual threads:
The Challenge The First Day The Second Day The Third Day The Fourth Day The Fifth Day The Sixth Day The Seventh Day The Eighth Day The Ninth Day The Tenth Day The Eleventh Day The Twelfth Day Finally, I’d like to thank everyone who participated, urge those who submitted partial lists to complete their ballots and to wish everyone here at CBR and Classic Comics the very best 2008 they could possibly wish for. Cei-U! I summon the year-end roundup!

Great job Kurt. It was tons of fun.
If we had a Classic Comics Citizen of the Month contest, you'd win in landslide!

Thanks Kurt. It was great fun and made really think about what it is I enjoy in comic adaptations.
(And I still don't believe I was the person to nominate Sandman: The Dream Hunters. :p ) |

Wow, thanks for doing the extra legwork and getting exact titles and dates for things I left annoyingly nebulous.
You are like a bolt of lightning! |

Great job, sir! It was my first year and I must say, it was more fun than I figured it would be. Thanks for all your work, Kurt!

I've finished off my list for 2007. December was a very rough month for the Gallaher family, but things are looking brighter day by day. Thanks to all of you with whom I've shared the past year on the CBR forums, particularly this wonderful Classic Comics forum. Happy New Year to all my chums--and that's all of you!
