After JLA/Hitman, I want to see Garth Ennis and John McCrea do Wonder Woman. They did a pretty impressive Diana.

It sounds like it'll be a second Wonder Woman comic which is good because I don't want to see Gail replaced and I DEFINITELY don't want to see her replaced by Grant. Like I said on the WW forums, if DC replaced Gail with Grant on the main title I would just drop the book

I want Gail to stay as the writer for a LONG time to come. She's doing a great job and I HIGHLY doubt Grant would do a better one given how hit and miss he is lately. Give him a second title to succeed or fail on and leave the main title in safe hands

Bring back Negasonic Teenage Warhead! Because there are more people who want to see her in the X Books than there are who want to see Jean Grey again.

Morrison is hit or miss.

When he hits it, it's great. When he misses, it's by a wide margin.

Van Sciver is a damn good artist.

BUT the two of them together will make this the latest of late books. If they get 2 out in a year I would be shocked.

And, yeah, I am very serious.

And here I was hoping Grant would start to pull back from the DCU and do some more creator-owned work.

I was under the impression that all of Grants Wonder Woman stuff, and there is quite a bit from his JLA run, was well receaved. I was also under the impression that while people hate Ethan's politics, the man is a very popular artists and is one of the go to guys for big events at DC.

Well no doubt I dislike the mans politics, but I simply hate his artwork and have done so long before I knew anything about the guy himself.

His characters all look way to rounded and tight, ballon-like is really the best way I can describe it.

Glad to know I'm not the only one not a fan of his art. Some of the anatomy makes me cringe.

Didn't the article state that it would probably rotate similar to Batman and Robin?

That is NOT my quote, by the way.

BRING. IT. ON!!!

Nothing could make me happier. And as I said on the other board, if this turns out to be a tease, and Rich is wrong, I may have to go to England and hunt him down!

There's this apology for her treatment in Final Crisis:

I love what Gail Simone (especially) and other writers have done to empower the Wonder Woman concept but I must admit I’ve always sensed something slightly bogus and troubling at its heart. When I dug into the roots of the character I found an uneasy melange of girl power, bondage and disturbed sexuality that has never been adequately dealt with or fully processed out to my mind. I’ve always felt there was something oddly artificial about Wonder Woman, something not like a woman at all.

Having said that, I became quite fascinated by these contradictions and problems and tried to resolve them for what turned into a different project entirely. Partly because I didn’t want to use any of that new material in Final Crisis, I relegated Wonder Woman to a role that best summed up my original negative feelings about the character. My apologies to her fans and I promise to be a little more constructive next time around.
So you have a person who admits he doesn't particularly like the concept of a character, who could possibly be writing that character as a protagonist, rather than just a member of a team like in JLA. That doesn't really inspire confidence, does it?

Quote taken from this interview. Well, it was really taken from someone who was themselves quoting this interview, but I'm sure it's there regardless.
