Wow. Now I understand all the complaints about the writing.

And I thought the first two issues were bad.

I'll admit it. That was pretty crappy Dialogue. But I honestly liked the first two Issues so I'll probably like this one.

Given recent events with Kara, it's not surprising that he would ask that of her.

Hmm, I thought the dialogue in the previous issues (only read previews though) wasn't so bad, but well, this sounded pretty bad. Was considering getting the trade later on, but now I'm probably not getting it.
Nice art though.

How would Hal know about Lucy though?

I usually like Robinson but Cry for Justice is just bad. "I'm a Kryptonian sure, but I'm not bad. I'm good"? Give me a break. The dialog is incredibly weak, I had such high hopes for this series.

The dialogue has been incredibly weak in this series. I can't imagine any of the characters speaking like that in the circumstances they are in. Even the art cannot salvage this.

Even as a parody, this series would be painful to read.

Are there any actual editors at DC?

Makes me wonder if anyone actually checks these previews before putting them up

It's not the dialogue that's the problem; it's the characterization. Everybody (especially Hal) seems a bit out of character in this series.

What, them inserting 'Justice!' into every third sentence and talking like they came out of a bad B-movie isn't a problem?

The book isn't doing the first and the second is a problem endemic to many superhero comics, so no, it isn't the worst problem plaguing this series.

Characters behaving in a manner unlike they do anywhere else they appear in currently published comics is a much bigger problem. It's hard to reconcile this depiction of Hal Jordan versus the one in the GREEN LANTERN book.
