Sonsaku Hakufu (Ikki Tousen) versus Motoko Gettou (Change 123)

For this match Motoko starts off in Black mode so as Zero I guess.

I'm having a hard, hard time seeing Hifumi hurting Hakufu. Her durability is insane.

And if I recall correctly, even Zero doesn't have speedfeats on the level necessary to blitz Hakufu. Though she might be capable of messing with Hakufu's senken, similarly to Ukitsu.

I've read the latest chapter of Change 123.

Zero's speed and skill are, at best, the only ways she can compete with Hakufu. She might be as fast, she might even be a touch faster (though given the feats as shown, I doubt it - Zero looks to be around comic book peak human in speed, maybe a touch faster). She's probably more technically skilled than Hakufu, but Hakufu picks stuff up with insane speed and has limited combat precog to boot.

Strength-wise, she's not in the same class. Her kick cracks the ground, another kick knocks someone to skid fifteen feet or so. Hakufu's powerful attacks blow craters into solid stone, smash people through stone walls, etc.

Durability...we haven't seen anything of Zero's durability because nobody has managed to seriously tag her yet. If it's anything like the norm for her body, she's wickedly durable for a human being. Compared to Hakufu, though, she's weak - Hakufu takes multiple shots from Ukitsu to seriously hurt - Ukitsu, who throws her into the front of a school with sufficient force to cause an explosion of stone and marble so large it eclipses the entry of the school itself.

The fact is that outside of pure speed, the Toushin operate at a level far above Zero, and Hakufu is exceptional for a Toushin. Even when it comes to skill, many Toushin are superior to Zero - bizarre pressure point use, qi attacks and counters, the creation of barriers using qi, etc.

Basically what happens here is that Zero evades for a few seconds, gets tagged, then gets beaten down. Assuming Zero manages to land a hit, Hakufu (in-character) laughs uproariously, makes a sarcastic comment about getting hit harder than that when she was eight, then continues with the beatdown.

Milage may vary, mind. :)

Note: I'm not talking about Dragon-Hakufu, because that's just silly. :)

Heck, you could probably split the HiFuMi into four beings and have them take on Hakufu four on one and she'd still probably win.

Indeed. While they could knock her around a little, they can't really hurt her, and the moment she starts landing shots (which will be pretty quickly, given none of them are as skilled or fast as Zero), they start dying.

Yeah, that was my logic.

To illustrate the difference here. Zero or Hibiki lands their strongest hit on Hakufu, she'll be knocked on her arse and will say "Ow,"

Hakufu returns the favour and Zero's head flies off.
