Through some drunken Thanksgiving partying, you find out that you are now in debt to Luke Cage for $15,000. Don't ask how, but Luke is furious with you and is coming to get you. For some reason. he will not listen to your pleas for mercy or payment, but instead offers you a proposition. He will set you to start running. For every second that you run, he will take off 10 dollars of your debt. If you succeed at "outrunning your debt" you are free to go. If you do not but manage to cut the sum in half he will merely KO you with one punch instead of giving you a prolonged beating. How do you fare?

1500 seconds = 25 minutes. I got this one in the bag. My knees will be crippled for days, but I can certainly jog along at a decent clip for 25 minutes. |

So 10 bucks off every second, that's like 600 bucks per minute. Which means you need to stay running for like 25 minutes. I easily do this, you never said I had to run fast or anything.

..../disappointed this thread isn't about running in the "running man" tv show.

I probably could have made this harder, but then again I wasn't interested in working out the math. What if he only takes 5 dollars off your fee with each second you run? |

I tell him that while I know I cant outfight him, I'm not going to run around like his little b[[ch either. If he wants to beat a defenseless man over money, thats on his conscious; I wont even fight back.

I probably run for five minutes before saying "fuck it" and take the beating.

Is the concept here just to run (as the OP literally suggests), or to run away from Luke Cage and manage to avoid him?

Does he at least try to trip me or something? This task seems pretty easy for a healthy, moderately athletic person.
