This is Fred J Dukes while he still had his powers up and running.

So these two end up in each others shoes and some size adjustment will probably be in order...

Matt gets Blob's abilities but maintains his regular appearance. He is dropped into past 616 earth without any connections or resources. However having been upgraded to mutant status, plot device demands that he will bump into one of the mutant factions soon enough. If he has read any Marvel comics from the past 2 decades, that knowledge will be applicable and make it fairly easy for him to piece together current events along with the news feed.

Blob is stripped of most of his powers but maintains his regular appearance. He can no longer project his personal energy field and he's reduced to regular human durability, but he has enough boosted strength to move his bulk around without discomfort. He also gets the abilities of composite Matt Damon (not counting MD's current status in MU). This includes Matt's status as an actor and Hollywood are willing to offer him parts in movies.

Does Blob get Matt Damon's powers as Loki when he was still the angel of death (from Dogma), or after he had cut off his wings, because having the power to fly, rain down sulfur, be invulnerable, etc. on our earth seems like a lot better deal than having the Blob's powers on Marvel earth. If he doesn't get Loki powers then he is limited to basically Jason Bourne level stuff (unless he had great feats I am forgetting from Titan AE).

What he would do? He's a mutant, prior to M-Day. Either the X-Men, the Hellfire Club or some other mutant related faction are going to spot him soon ehough.

He gets post-apocalyptic Loki's powers. Flight, invulnerability and immortality as long as he doesn't drink alcohol or in any other way lose his wings.

I can't spot him Sulfur Rain or a Sword Of Smite since they are only insinuated in the movie.
