Default The Imperium of Man vs. Earth

BEAR WITH ME, I don't know much about the Imperium.

For some reason, The Imperium is now at war with Earth.

A) Marvel Earth.

B) DC Earth.

C) A Composite Earth.

If too unevenly matched, perhaps an alliance with some other WH40k armys. Like The Tau or the Eldar.

Here's the thing about the Imperium of man: It is mostly made up of morons who do not actually know how their tech works. As is "Complete the hour long ritual, burn the proper insence and then press the holy button marked 'On'" does not now how it works.

Any Earth with acess to even vaguely high powered meta humans is going to roll them.

If it wasn't for psykers and his crippling emotional issues, The Sentry could *solo* this.

As is? Hell, Abigail Brand slips Deadpool a fifty and tells him to go nuts.

Depends on the Imperium's willingness to declare Exterminatus. In that case all that needs to get through is one atmosphere killing torpedo and all that's left alive are a few high end bricks who don't need to breath. DC and Marvel Earth are vastly superior one on one than the Imperium of Man, but it won't be one on one. The Imperium throws tens of billions to their deaths every day. And now it doesn't have to spread that force. If nothing else the Imperium can crush Earth under so many bodies that everyone dies from the horrible stench of rotting corpses enveloping the Earth. High end psykers from the Imperium can match against high end comic psykers. We do have crazy psyker feats such as mind fucking entire continents. Or the Grey Knights fighting that demon who had taken control of an entire planet. And the Imperium will have far far far more psykers.

And they do not spend an hour chanting rituals before pressing the holy button. We have plenty of examples of them just pushing a button because....well it's just a button. It's just that they've converted maintenence and high end stuff into religious rituals. So the tech priest will be chanting prayers as changes the oil or whatnot. But he won't be taking much longer(or might even go just as fast or faster) as we would. He just has prayers tossed into the mix which he can still chant while changing the oil. We have plenty of examples of the mechanicus doing fast and efficient repairs. The main difference here is that the Imperium clearly divides who is allowed to touch the holy machines and who isn't.

Plus they have to understand what they're doing to a certain degree. You can't build and repair things like mechandendrites, servitors, servo-skulls, full fledged warp capable battleships, etc, just by copypaste. They've probably added unnecessary steps to the construction/repair and they do have a lot of tech that they don't understand completely, but they have some understanding even if it's tainted by their beliefs.

Imperium gets stomped in all three cases.
