By the way, note that the whole poison wine thing was Weasley's idea. The exact scenario doesn't have to be the same. Either way, assume whoever is posing the challenge runs the same risk of dying as Vizini.

Vizini still can't confuse him through his standard methods. He probably won't be able to get information out of him either because he'll try to be entirly to subtle for dealing with Detritus.

It might effect him. Certain minerals can dissolve a Troll's brain and kill them, that's why Detritus spends so much time fighting the drug trade.
