Battle to take place in Helm's Deep

Pre-Match Dialogue:

Spiderman: HA! Check it out losers, I'm not just a useless member of the team anymore.
Vegeta: Please, I don't think anything can make you any less a loser.
Spiderman: What's that supposed to mean?
Vegeta: Let me put it to you this way. Take a piece of dog crap, and wrap it in Christmas paper. Passing it off as a present doesn't change the fact that on the inside, it's still just crap, it stinks, and no one wants it.
Static: Well, not really, I mean, I imagine farmers who use natural maneur to fertilize their fields wouldn't mind...
Selene: And other dogs that eat crap would like it too.
Static: Seriously?
Selene: Trust me, I hunt werewolves, it's not that far out there...
Spiderman: Hey, shut up, he doesn't need any help.
Vegeta: Of course not, because I'm Vegeta, and you're still a loser.
Spiderman: You know, I've had just about all the lip I'm going to take from you. Let's see how you like the Cosmic Cube treatment, bitch.
Vegeta: Really, this ought to be good.
Wonder Woman: Or at the very least, entertaining.
Spiderman: Sure, laugh all you like, when I turn you into a statue. Ready?
Vegeta: Do you really announce your attacks?
Static: What? You don't?
Vegeta: ......................
Spiderman: STATUE!
Statue: *A marble bust of J. Jonah Jameson falls out of the sky and lands on Spiderman's head*
Spiderman: OWWWWW! Son of a BITCH that hurt!
Sailor Jupiter: Yeah, it looked painful.
Spiderman: How the hell can I not work this thing?
Vegeta: Honestly?
Spiderman: No, I don't want to hear it.
Vegeta: Because you suck!
Spiderman: Didn't I just say no?
Vegeta: You may have said no, but I heard yes.
Static: WHAT?
Vegeta: What?
Static:..............................nothing, nevermind.
Wonder Woman: You have a filthy mind.
Static: Hey, hanging around you lot all season, it was bound to happen. *turns head to look at Sailor Jupiter*
Sailor Jupiter: I don't know what's going through that ecchi mind of yours, but I can assure you, I will hurt you if you do not keep it clean.
Static: *raises eyebrow suggestively*
Sailor Jupiter: And no, you will not like it.
Static: Damn it!
Spiderman: I only wanted to be cool. *poof* H, hey, I think I've changed. Am I cool?
Vegeta: Hmm...most definately. *holds up mirror*
Spiderman: *looks in mirror* What? NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Vegeta: You've turned yourself into my copy.
Spiderman: *sobs* Nohohohoho...I'm Vegeta
Vegeta: Yes, and like I said, shiny wrappers can not hide the shit inside.
Spiderman: I hate myself!!!
Selene: Then that makes it unanomous doesn't it?
Spiderman: *sobs*

Phase I: Battle at Helms Deep

Suprisingly, my team stacks up very well against Siriel's team. The match ups follow:

Vegeta vs Karate Kid
Wonder Woman vs Soma Cruz
Sailor Jupithor vs Azazel
Omega Static vs Emma Frost
Super Selene vs Elric of Melniboné & Snape
Spiderman vs Doctor Linoktopus
Gizmo vs Agent J

Break it Down

Vegeta vs Karate Kid is fairly evenly matched. Both have the Power Gem, both are exceptional martial artists and the Encephela-Helmet will enhance Vegeta's reaction time to easily counter KK's insane defense and blocking ability. All in all, these two are likely to stalemate for some time. However I have a few interesting ideas in mind.

Wonder Woman vs Soma Cruz - This one is another virtual stalemate thanks largely to the Doomgiver. The Claws of Horus, according to the profile, can deliver planet level strikes, meaning it'll bring him closer to Wonder Woman's level, however, it's the Doomgiver that will give me the edge. Tossing her tiara at Cruz will cause it to reflect back at her via the Doomgiver's power. Given Wonder Woman's reflex and reaction time, catching her own rebounding tiara will be an easy task, but she will then use the momentum of its own redirection to increase it's speed as she grabs it and uses the kinetic energy stored in it to throw it at even faster speeds at Karate Kid. As he is battling against Vegeta, he'll either get clonked by a super thrown tiara, or dodge the tiara and get konked by Vegeta. Either way, Karate Kid's going down.

Sailor Jupithor vs Azazel - This fight is actually in favor of me. Sailor Jupithor starts by summoning a storm to make the invisible characters visible, then moves to directly attack Azazel. The Yellow Ring can be smashed through by Mjolnir, but what really helps against Azazel is that he's a demon, while Mjolnir is a holy weapon, a religious iconic tool. that has banished evil entities far more powerful than Azazel. Once Jupithor breaks through the yellow shield, Azazel goes down.

Omega Static vs Emma Frost - Another fight where the advantage belongs to me. Immune to telepathy, Static will be able to overwhelm Emma, forcing her to go into diamond form to protect herself. At this point, Static magnetically lifts her, as he's shown to magnetize enemies numerous times before, and uses her as a blunt instrument against the other members of Siriel's team, mostly against Snape and Agent J.

Super Selene vs Elric of Melniboné & Snape - Selene is outnumbered, but even baseline Selene is faster than Elric w/ the Super Soldier serum. Give her the amp via the Witchblade symbiote and she's not being touched. With the amp from the Isis amulet it's just ridiculous. She starts the fight by shooting the Saint of Killers Guns at Elric. Even intangible, these weapons are instant death strikes and will take him out before he can even react. For Snape, he's got two important things working against him. Even if he is invisible, the moment he casts a spell, he'll make his whereabout known, and Selene is a good enough shot to pepper the area with killer bullets. Besides, if a 17 year old student can dodge the spells, a 300 y/o bullet timing vampire could do it easily.

Contigency I: If by chance Snape tries to used the summoning charm on my items, I'd like to point out a few things. The Power Gem is inside Vegeta's body, the Eye of Odin took considerable effort to be removed by Goliath, and now it is magnetically stuck to Static, the SoK guns, like Mjolnir, are holy weapons and will return to its owner when seperated. The Amulet of Isis is probably the one significant item that may be pulled from it's host, and by the time it races back to Snape's position, Selene would have seen where it stopped and shot Snape dead. And all that is even contingent of whether or not Static, who can sense the electrical aura of every person on the field, hasn't bludgoned Snape unconscious with Emma's body.

Spiderman vs Doctor Linoktopus - Linkara's only advantage to keep ahead of Spidey is the Sandals of Hermes, and I'm still not sure how much speed they provide as speed feats are all over the board. Anyway, Linkara has shown he's not a physical fighter, proven by two seperate montages as he prepared to wrestle with some really bad comics. The magic gun vs Neutro isn't even that impressive given that Neutro was rebuilt by Dr. Insano, and we all know how lousy most of his inventions are, besides, people much slower than Spidey have dodged it. The Dr. Octopus tenticles too, aren't much help as Spidey has beaten the original on numerous occasions, a man who's had far more experience using them. But the real reason Linkara loses? Because he will be so busy bitching about how stupid One More Day was, and his hate for that series was well documented, that Spidey will overwhelm him before he can manage any offense. Either way, Spiderman is too quick for Linkara

Gizmo vs Agent J - Agent J shoots the Noisy Cricket, Gizmo w/ the Super Soldier Serium dodges as he's such a small target. Agent J gets thrown back several feet thanks to the recoil, Gizmo clears the distance and begins beating on the former cop, Rodney King style. Can't we all just get along? Hell NO!

Phase II: Finish Them! Fatality!!!

So yeah, with Karate Kid out, Vegeta flied down and takes Soma Cruz, literally, he picks him up and flies off with him. As that's not an attack, the Doomslayer can't reflect it back on my team. I mean what's it going to do, make Vegeta pick himself up? Really, that's weird. Anyway, Vegeta flies off with Cruz in his arms. He either a) drops him when he gets several thousand feet in the air because that's not an attack either, it'll be the sudden stop at the end of the fall that kills him, not a direct attack against him. or if that doesn't work, b) he flies off with Cruz and rings them both out.

That leaves Elric of Melniboné, Emma Frost, Snape & Agent J against Wonder Woman, Sailor Jupithor, Omega Static, Super Selene and Gizmo, and this is only if a) Elric wasn't taken out by Selene's guns and b) Snape wasn't taken out by either Selene's guns or Emma used as a club of destruction. Either way, there's too much power to over come on my team right now, and we will eventually beat the other team down. If the Gentleman's Box is open, it'll hinder Snape from casting spells, and yes, he can cast spells strictly mind based, but again, these spells can be dodged by high schoolers, this group more than overpowers them.

Special Note: Because of my late match last week and subsequent late purchases, I'm not using my new items since I don't believe Siriel had ample prep time. My team still has them, but just not using them because I'm trying to be fair.
