I have a friend who's a lesbian, more fem than butch and hardly at all militant, who's used to term to describe butch women herself and said it's commonly used that way.

Well, Blondies aren't as good as Brownies, but they ARE pretty tasty.

Dagwood Sandwiches actually DO exist, but they're a bitch to eat. We don't all have comic book-y jaws. And "hard to eat" is NOT sexy at all.

So on that basis, I'd have to come down on the side of Blondies (but as I said, if Brownies had been a choice...)
