Default Alan Scot Vs. Hal Jordan

I don't know too much about Alan Scott, other than that his powers work a little differently than other GL's. Is he more powerful than Hal Jordan? If not, who's the most powerful GL he can beat?

Do they both get yellow wooden baseball bats?

Actually I think Hal has pretty much overcome the yellow impurity. As he is seen using it on things / people that are yellow on several occasions.

I;m pretty sure Hall takes this everytime

Alan Scott. Wood weakness aside he's pretty much a GL running on unlimited juice. If nothing else he can win by attrition.

Technically, Hal could transmute some wood to take him out with.

Yellow is definitely not a weakness for Hal anymore, or any other GL who conquers fear or some such.

And Alan Scott purified primordial mystic evil just by having it exposed long term to his awesome.

That and the only JSA member more awesome than Alan is Jay Garrick.

Hal wasn't alone in doing that, and Mandrakk kinda sucked at that point for the threat level he was purportedly supposed to represent.

I would largely call this fight 50/50, they've mostly performed in ways that look on par with each other as Green Lanterns. If this happened in Alan's Sentinel era, it would be skewed much more in his favour.

i realize that, but i'm sure it's not beyond hal jordan's capabilties to create a stake by himself. in fc sure, he needed the help, since all of their rings were conveniently running on empty.

i'm just giving hal the win here because alan has the easily exploitable weakness to wood, while hal and other gls have nothing really going against them.
