Default Without being overpowered, with can handle being in Claymore?

What are the most important traits needed to survive what the Claymore universe can throw at you for the most part? What's needed the survive the very worst?

What characters without breaking the universe handle the level of fighting there?

not a character but --- I am thinking that most modern armies could eradicate the organization as a whole and claymores as well. Of course it would count as "overpowered" but still.

I know nothing about Claymore, but the answer is Batman. The answer is always Batman.

Batman couldn't do squat. The Claymoreverse doesn't have the materials he'd need to make tech sufficient to compensate for his massive lack of stats.

Well, he could handle regular Yomas just fine, at least.

While I'm not sure he could handle some of the higher ups, Guts could survive in it.

Thing is, surviving in the Claymoreverse isn't all that hard. You just need peak human stats or above to be able to handle the regular guys, and then you just avoid the Awakened Ones.

Which, granted, is not easy if you are unlucky enough to end up in a town where one of them live.

What kinds of threats exist in the Claymore universe?

It ranges from "Monsters that Captain America could handle if he decided to grab a sword" to "Superspeed giant monsters who devastate the landscape by hitting each others and have a healing factor that make anything short of a beheading irrelevant".

The really strong ones tend to just stay at their own place and do nothing though.

And Priscilla, but she hasn't shown much yet.

The problem is, you know, that Awakened Ones have a tendency to hide out in cities when Isley isn't sending them off to die as a distraction.

So a peak human is taking the gamble that no Awakened will decide to stop by his town.

I have seen just the anime but i don't think awakened ones hide in cities. The only times they appeared in cities would be to fight claymores.

At least in the anime. As for the manga , i payed some attention to it , but i did not read it.

...That's because the Claymores are seeking them out. Not because the Awakened Ones prefer to fight in cities.

Sure, they (usually) don't go on a rampage and destroy the town they hide in, but they do kill quite a lot of people over time.
