Rumblers League 3: Week 11, D1, Match 5 - Siriel v Randy Mandy

Karate Kid will begin the fight by throwing his Flight Ring at Moondragon, enhancing himself with the Power Gem while doing so. Since she has no has no enhanced durability to speak of, and doesn't react at lightspeed, this should take her out.
(Yes, I know some people have had issue with this, but I haven't done it in a while, and really, Moondragon's just too powerful a TPer for me to let her think.)
Note that even if she manages to get a move in first, Val's Ring of Mind Blank will allow him to get his move off.
After this, he will move to attack the opposition in close combat.

Azazel will begin by blasting the opposite team with an AOE blast from his YLR(avoiding Phyla if possible). This should stun the opposite team and wound them, as well as taking out Moondragon if she managed to endure Val's opening move.
Following this, he will blast the opposite team repeatedly(focusing on Mysa Nall to take her out) while making his way to Demona as quickly as possible, at which point he will engage her in combat, taking her over if possible.
Once this is done, he will strike at the opposition one after the others.

Severus Snape will take advantage of the (admittedly short) time that the Potara fusion takes to Soul Seal Celeste Cuckoo and blasting the combined body with an Avada Kedavra.
After this, he will teleport to the left of the opposition and take them out one after the other with the kill spell and the Millenium Eye, should Moondragon still be alive, she will be the first target for the Avada Kedavra.

Soma Cruz will draw Doomgiver before teleporting to Phyla Vell, at which point he will attack her with the Claw of Horus. While this is a fight he's unlikely to win, he only needs to hold on until help arrive.
Once she's taken down, he will proceed to the next member of the team.

Linkara will begin by setting Moondragon on fire from afar with the Plasmid, after which his job is to defend the two member mentioned below.

Emma Frost, with Moondragon taken down immediately and Celeste defeated by Snape, will be free to mentally attack Phyla Vell and Mysa. Her main goal is to distract Phyla enough for Soma to get a clear hit with the Claw, defeating her.
Mysa must simply be stopped from casting until Azazel takes her down.
After this, she will target the opponents one by one.

All that is just to buy time though.
While the others are doing this, Elric, protected by his invulnerability, will be chanting the rune to summon Stormbringer's brethrens, something made possible by the chaos of the End of the World. (The dimension where we're fighting.)
With that done, it's only a matter of time before the opposition is swarmed and killed by the sword.
Note: Yeah, it's possible that some of my guys will be killed in the sea of swords, but it wouldn't be the first time Elric did something like that.

To sum it up in order of actions:

1 - Karate Kid takes out Moondragon with the Flight Ring.
2 - Azazel blasts the entire opposite team except Phyla. Destroying Mysa in the process.
3 - Soma teleports and engage Phyla in battle.
4 - Snape takes out Celeste/Celestial Lady.
5 - Linkara incinerates Moondragon.
6 - Emma takes down Phyla(with Soma) and Mysa.
7 - Elric kills everyone on the opposite side.
8 - Azazel engages and defeats Demona.
9 - Soma teleports to assist against the Celestial Lady if needed, otherwise he moves on to the next target.
10 - Karate Kid mops the floor with anyone he crosses.
11 - Emma finishes the job.
12 - Agent J gets drunk.

Alright, so technically it was over at 7, but whatever.

Liberty Belle raises a quantum shield around my group, to prevent Karate Kid from getting close and personal in the beginning, and traps Elric of Melnibone with quantum bonds that restrain and gag him. If Doomgiver isn't drawn when the fight starts, she will do the same with Soma Cruz. During the whole fight, she will be moving around to avoid possible magical attacks (particularly if Azazel tries to take over her body) and use the Quantum Bands to protect her mind against Emma Frost's telepathy. She'll also try to drain dry Azazel's SC ring with the QB. Other than that, she will attempt to imprison and knock out enemies following the priority list.

RESULT: Team protected against physical attack; Elric of Melnibone unable to cast any spells or to wield the Stormbringer; Soma Cruz potentially incapacitated; Azazel's power ring depowered.

Moondragon, protected by the Aegis, is attacking the minds of Emma Frost, Severus Snape and Soma Cruz (only if Doomgiver hasn't been drawn). Heather could take them at the same time without augmentation and with the Mind Gem there is no way for them to resist, so once they are under her control Snape will be ordered to use the Millennium Eye to trap Soma Cruz's soul inside a random tarot card created with his magic (if Doomgiver has been drawn, Snape will first try to take away the sword by using Accio) and Emma Frost will be ordered to use her powers against Azazel. I don't watch Supernatural, so for all I know using telepathy against their demons causes the telepaths' heads to explode, but if Emma doesn't display signs of being harmed by this mental contact, Moondragon will also hit Azazel's mind if Emma alone is not enough. If she can, she

RESULT: Emma Frost and Severus Snape mind controlled; Soma Cruz potentially disarmed and soul-ripped; Azazel potentially mind controlled.

Ion Martyr is using as much power as she needs to trap Azazel inside an energy bubble created with her Ion powers and keep him there for as long as the demon remains an active threat. Green light can contain intangibles and the Ion Symbiote is stronger than a conventional power ring, so Azazel isn't going anywhere even if he starts using his yellow ring in an attempt to break through, particularly because Azazel hasn't been holding his ring for very long and Martyr has prior experience using a ring-like device (the Quantum Bands, of course).

RESULT: Azazel contained.

The Darkest Witch begins releasing the Muur Plague in wide area mode, turning every human without superpowers in the Realm of Darkness into a rakghoul. This includes Karate Kid who -like Batgirl- is just an incredibly skilled human, Agent J, and Linkara (unless he happens to have items that give him protection against magic). They are going to become rakghoul, completely loyal to the Witch, utterly merciless and with all their skills and items.

Right after this, she is going to start using the Darkness in all its wonderful potential. The Door to Darkness will be sealed with a wall of dark matter to ensure that it remains closed, while darklings appear from every shadow (and there are lots of shadows to use in Siriel's arena) and the Witch tries to kill Siriel's characters from the inside by filling every dark corner and crevice of their bodies with Darkness. If she needs to find somebody invisible, the Witch will use the power of the Darkness to locate individuals through their shadows and inner darkness.

RESULT: Karate Kid, Agent J and Linkara become rakghouls; lots of darklings attacking No More Mr Nice Guy; the only source of supernatural light in the arena blocked; every active corporeal enemy attacked from inside their bodies.

Celestial Lady (fusion of Alyssa Moy and Celeste Cuckoo) uses the power of the Star Brand to destroy Doomgiver without harming Soma Cruz, uses her full power (including telepathy) against Karate Kid if the quantum shield isn't enough to contain him and prepares to atomize Elric if he is about to unleash the Dread Sword Swarm or Snape if he starts teleporting around. She will also resurrect allies whenever possible.

RESULT: Doomgiver potentially destroyed; Elric or Snape killed if the other methods used to deal with them don't work.

Demona manipulates gravity to make Doomgiver too heavy for Soma Cruz to wield, if the sword isn't destroyed by something else, and then uses the Moonstones to send both Cruz and Elric (minus Stormbringer and the Ring of Kings) to another dimension. If she can overcome the invulnerability, she will send them in several pieces to several different dimensions and time periods. She'll also use the old gravity x1000 attack against enemies that are proving troublesome.

WINNERS: The No Boys Club!

Additional notes and contingencies:

1) If the attempt to mind control Azazel is successful, he will be forced to take over the body of Snape and killed by Martyr, who will decapitate him with her death sword and run him through with the Ebony Blade. Considering that the Colt was powerful enough to kill Azazel, this is probably overkill, but there is no way of being too sure with the likes of this guy.

2) Priority list: Karate Kid - Azazel - Elric - Soma Cruz - Severus Snape - Emma Frost - Linkara - Agent J

3) They are not giving Elric a single chance to use the Dread Sword Swarm. Seriously. If he starts chanting tortured runes, everybody is going to hit him with everything they have. And that is a lot of hurt.

4) If the Witch falls before she can use the Muur talisman (unlikely, since that is her first action and the Darkness makes her really hard to kill), somebody else is going to retrieve the talisman and use it to rakghoulize the unpowered humans.

5) Enemies that prove complicated to put down with raw power or pure telepathy will be transformed into harmless forms, sent to remote dimensions and nearby black holes by the Dark Witch or chrono-dumped to the heat death of the universe by Moonstone Demona. The girls will fight in character, helping the others if they can and after they have completed their primary objectives. Particularly, dimension dumped people will be brought back by the characters with capacity to do so.

So that's one person probably not harmed in any way, shape, or form. Amulet should tank the Eye by itself, as well as anything Snape could dish out with magic. Starbrand is probably enough not to be harmed here.

Seriously, read people's last matches if you're fighting them.

Amulet of Samarkand makes them immune to magic at this level.

Celestial Lady should be fine against the Eye.

If it had been a stronger fighter the Amulet would have failed, but Potterverse magic has no raw power beyond high end demon magic of the Bartimaeus Trilogy.

General opinion of the match, not just that one fight.

Jesse is getting up a shield before Azazel even starts firing, and probably before the Ring passes the distance needed to hit Moondragon. Karate Kid is probably faster than Jesse, Zoom tagging or no, but his ring isn't crossing that distance in time.

Seriously, while I may have missed something, I don't even see Liberty Belle mentioned in Siriel's strategy, much less countered.

Aegis seems rather forgotten too, the two shields should give Moondragon a proper defense. This means that Snape, Emma, and possibly Soma are all down.

Azazel feels kind of unlikely, the guy is a ghost/demon thing. Depends on how Marvel telepaths stack up to things like him, I know they're pretty good against robots, but dead demons without brains is something I'd like to get confirmation on.

Martyr should be pretty good with holding off Azazel by herself, while Soma has several attacks on him. Combined with Jesse's shielding protecting Soma's handling crew, I think that Azazel is taken care of.

Now, I think Karate Kid is probably underestimated here, especially the Power Gem's effects. The Power Gem can probably protect him from the mystical effect, In think, though throwing the ring is a bit of an ironic move given it would protect him from the Celestial Lady. Karate Kid can probably smash through the Bands shields, and Karate Kid can probably end up destroying an enemy or two, but it will be too late, his team will be gone, and he'll be facing and respectable team with several enemies who can defeat him with help.

As far as I can tell, Siriel forgot about the single most powerful character in the League, and one of the very few who has a good chance of keeping up with an amped Karate Kid. Jesse is the real savior this time, with her shield making up for Azazel's blitz.

Just my opinion, Siriel will probably have a defense.

This is how Jesse is binding Elric and Soma.

If Elric can do the summon of the sibling swords despite being tied this way, I will eat my hat.

I don't actually own a hat, but I'll buy one to eat it.

Hey, Randy, got any will feats for Phyla? I haven't read an awful lot of her. She seems better suited for the Green than Rachel does, but that's not really saying much. (And Wyld makes a pretty compelling point for you winning this. Seriously man, leave her some work to do.)
