Power Couples: Gambit edition. (also featuring Rogue)
 Gambit and Rogue is getting a bit stale y'all. She can't even change into a ghost and try and carry out a rescue mission without him getting all emo. Again.  Every time these two get together, it's like some X Men version of the twilight books. It wouldn't surprise me if they retconned Gambit into being a vampire (nb I have not read the Twilight books but I can tell they are some hideous teen emo nonsense) All the stuff with Rogue - who is great in herself - is more harmful to Gambit's character than the revelation that he is actually a clone of Mr Sinister and that he is directly responsible for killing all the Morlocks, as surely if he had personally decapitated them himself. Yet Gambit has the potential to be a cool X-Man, if only he could sort out his interpersonal relationships. We all remember the best Gambit moment of the past 10 years  And the time when he swapped saliva with Sage (sorry, no scan for that one). Gambit needs to be doing more of this  What relationship would you like to see Gambit in, in order to salvage this ruined character? |

Gambit and Rogue are getting stale? They got stale over 10 years ago and have been dead as an interesting couple since the Mutant Massacre reveal. Everything since has been beating and dragging along a dead horse
Ive always wanted him and Polaris. They'd make for one hot pairing. He and any of the Mastermind sisters would be good for a short sexy fling |

Though the Gambit - Polaris is a 'ship I could get behind as well.

Gambit and Rogue have never been interesting as a couple. I support Gambit and Shaw, or Gambit and that random blonde guy.
I'd also support Gambit/Courier.  Courier's the best post-op (and metamorphosis) tranny ever, actually being biologically viable. |

Rogue and Gambit(and Havok and Polaris)as,a couple,have brought a dull,sleazy soap-opera direction to the X-Men I've always loathed.
Alternative love-interests for Remy could be Polaris or Sage.Outside the X-Men,Songbird or Black Cat.

The poll is not a means to stifle debate, by all means if you have a different opinion feel free to voice it in the thread.
I obviously didn't read Gambit's solo series but I believe he had some male companion who somehow ended up in the body of a woman, and then he had sex with her, fully knowing that he was his transgender friend? I saw that on here somewhere, don't have any further details, sorry |
