What, in your opinion, is the best street level book marvel is putting out right now? Daredevil? Punisher? Moon Knight?

It used to be Immortal Iron Fist, but I guess it's Daredevil. Not too keen on the newest run thus far. I'd kill for a gritty, urban take on Power Man & Iron Fist. That'd knock me off my blender.

After this current issue of Moon Knight it seems to be losing it's street cred. They are resurrecting old villains. I was really hoping for a new villain.

Moon Knight has been really good, Daredevil too.
I don't buy Punisher MAX but I've been checking out Remender's Punisher List Annual and will check out the Frankencastle stuff and so far I've been really enjoying it's wacky off the wall premiseon Punisher.

While it's not set in the main MU, I'd say the Punisher MAX series and assorted one-shots. I think it's been consistently good since the first issue, even the post-Ennis stuff has been worth a read. Aaron and Dillon's first issue came out recently and they've started strong.
I don't know about ever one else, but in my opinion Frank in the MU sort of stopped being a street-lever character when he made his big return during Civil War.

I'd say it's Daredevil and probably has been for a long time because of all the great runs in that book.
While the jury is still out for me on Diggle's view of the character, the book looks fantastic these days. If it gets competent writing like it had under Brubaker, Bendis, and even Kevin Smith this is easily Marvel's best street book. (I'm not omitting Miller, I was just trying to stay in the current volume) To me it's kind of their only street book. It's consistently gritty with a an equally flawed character that has always been that way. They didn't have to tweak him to make him more like someone you know. Marvel doesn't really do street crime all that well these days, but Daredevil is the stark exception to that. Other Marvel street guys/books are more gimmick, DD is the real deal. It doesn't have to have the word "Dark" or "Noir" in the title for you to know what it's about. |

Superhero : The new run of DD started really strong. DD is still the king of Street level superhero to me. Finally a big change that isnt personal problems.
Non-superhero Punisher Max is finally starting to get back from the low levels of post Ennis.
