NYPD is much more heavily armed, but LA gangs' have a rather large arsenal and bigger numbers.

I can go to a concert, attend an outdoor poetry slam and go to in'n'out in a matter of blocks fuck LA, you need a car to get anywhere, the people are shallow and stupid, and it's hot as shit NY is just rude, sure they have the rep for being tough, but at the expense of being complete dicks. And if all you can find in sf is the wharf, you're a horrible tourist. anyways back to the debate people are tougher in NY, plain and simple, just your average new yorker would whoop an LA golden boy in a matter of seconds. the average New yorker is also more likely to own a weapon than your average LA citizen.
