We've seen versions of him rape, attempt rape, and attempt to kill babies.

I would say there's little ethical boundries for him left to cross.

But there are some lines he just won't cross.
For example, he'll never get mood and kill himself.

Though, that might be more because he racks in the money for DC than any character trait.

Actually, Joker does have an ethical boundary.

He won't violate state seatbelt laws. He's all about "Click it or ticket." All about seatbelt safety.

honest question.... would the joker kill a baby? sodomize a child? rape a kid? toruture animals? is that beyond his scope or is it dc doesn't want to show him do that? I think there has to be a line he WONT cross if only for the sake of editorial mandate.

If anything, DC won't let him be shown doing certain things. That and Joker doesn't really do sexual crimes, though Azz's Joker seems to be trying to change that, which angers me.

But he did take naked photos of Babs in The Killing Joke to help drive Jim Gordon down. I think that the Joker's writers want to make people think that he is capable of these things, but it's assumed that he never took that full step into actually doing the deed.
