Default Bluto vs. Scrooge Mc Duck

I think we all can agree Popeye is too much for Scrooge to take, but about Bluto? Ol' big bully wants to take Mc Duck's lucky dime away. Scrooge goes ballistic.

Who walks away?

Bluto's got a lot of similar feats, though not to the level Popeye has them. He's also got insane durability considering who he's constantly getting punched by.

Scrooge is tough, but he ain't tough enough to tangle with Bluto.

In a man-to-duck fight? I want to say Scrooge, but Bluto is really strong. And by that I mean incredibly goddamned strong. You pretty much have to be if you want to duke it out with Popeye on a semi-daily basis. Even in top shape, I kinda doubt Scooge can win a physical confrontation.

The vengeance Scrooge wreaks on Bluto when he comes back with prep to reclaim the dime will be terrible, of course, but Bluto still beats him.

If Scrooge is in his bin, with prep, he has a much better chance of stopping Bluto, though it depends on which version of the bin. There's still a chance Bluto just walks right through most of the weaker defences.

The retaliatory strike will involve paying Popeye three lifetimes worth of spinach, just to make sure the suffering is thorough.

I'm leaning towards Bluto myself.

Remind me, what are the crazier feats for Scrooge's Money Bin's defense system? Some of my Chinese comics depict it as having buzzsaws hidden beneath the ground and a huge magnet in the walls.

And, of course, we can't forget the pits. Or the electrified gates.

I also recall it having a jell-o cannon.

Thing is Bluto will just plow through all that stuff, (Except for Jello, he'll eat that.)

Well, then. The solution is obvious.

Fill Bluto up with Jello until he's too fat and tired to move.

In the DuckTales cartoon, the Beagle Boys once took control of the bin and managed to easily repell a joint assault of the Duckburg police department, federal police forces, the US Army, and a crack squad of ninjas. And that was just them messing around with the security system, Scrooge actually knows how it works.

I recall stuff like automated laser cannons, tanks being disabled before even reaching the bin, katanas cut in half, etc.

Oh, almighty Ghost, is there nothing about the world of fiction that you do not know?

bluto has been shown to be slightly stronger than baseline popeye. so i'd give him the win in a fist fight.

Unless Scrooge gets Spinach, he winds up as dinner.
