MC Supernatural has already declared rap to be immortal and indestructable.
Rap survies the onslaught and uses it's inherent reality warping powers to revive all of the other genres. Life continues in music-verse, only now all genres are based on rap due to direct influence. Things will be pretty awkward at first but eventually we learn to cope with it. The good part? Those horrid traditional x-mas carols are now replaced by choirs of holiday themed freestyle battles... with beards and elf ears. Awesomeness ensues.
