Default The Waters of Mars tomorrow!

Yes, the penultimate Doctor Who special to feature David Tennant before the Christmas two parter is on tomorrow, 7pm! So as I know we've got a few Who fans here on the boards, myself included, I thought I'd do a little thread to talk about what we liked, what we didn't and of course, post random and crackpot theories.

And to fellow Brit and Who-fan Karen El...we get to see this special before the others on this board. Go us!

What?
I said you're a freaking genius you idiot!

Bring back Negasonic Teenage Warhead! Because there are more people who want to see her in the X Books than there are who want to see Jean Grey again.

Wrong subject.
We don't even know if there is water on Mars, or if there ever was.
However, there are good signs that there was at one time water, and that some measure of water may still be found at the frozen poles. Whether microscopic Martian life could or does exist in such conditions, I couldn't tell you.
I hope so though. Just because it would be so, so awesome.

I just hope it then doesn't devolve into so many horror movies.
Cause last thing I need is evil Martian ooze trying to eat mankind. I'm hating reality enough as is. And sure, we'd all love to see me go all Ash Williams and such with the chainsaws and boom sticks and saving humanity, and I admit it would be awesome to behold. But there's an even chance I'd get consumed. In which case I'm totally haunting the ooze.
Unless it turns me into some evil alien monster thing, in which case, that'd suck. Well, for you guys.

In conclusion, I'm against finding life on other planets now due to potential headaches, and we should just dissolve NASA while we still can.

Back on topic, with the crazy Dr. Who crackpot theories, I totally say the Doctor is really Bruce Campbell's future, Time Lord offspring.
Think about it.

So, let's recap:

-Ice Warriors
-Those pyramid guys from Pyramids of Mars
-And now water creatures

How many aliens were living on Mars in Doctor Who?

It's taken a while, but Doctor Who's finally gotten around to ripping off Romero zombies. Now it's done everything!

To be fair, Sutekh wasn't originally from Mars.

Water in space makes me think of some sort of Lovecraftian monster.

It's honestly only a matter of time in between discovering water in space, and being attacked by evil starspawn.

I for one welcome our Cthulhu-oid brethren with open gun barrels and much chopping!

And thanks for the reminder. I've been busy with all kinds of homework crap and I nearly forgot about this! It's children in need, too, isn't it? Pudsey and all that stuff?
