Default What Made You Smile Today?

Write about something that made you smile today.

Today what made me smile was learning my mother had framed the poem I wrote for her as a birthday gift and hung it on the living room wall.

I watched Benjamin Zander's talk in Davos @ ted.com.

I was crying, but smiling.

Powerful stuff.

Our neighbours cat, Timmy, dropped by for a visit and curled up on my laundry pile.

I got my paycheck today, and a friend I owed money to (well...my loan-shark, actually) let my slide to another paycheck so I could pay off three shut-off notices.

The fact that Ewan McGregor has no shame, and I see him sans pants in half of the movies I've viewed in which he's appeared.

(Men Who Stare at Goats was good, btw, with or without that featured).

My son makes me smile everyday. He's 4-1/2 weeks old and just a lot of fun.

I smiled at me and my 3 year-old son Jack making prank phone calls to Darth Vader.
