I mean I know there are a lot of fans of both Storm and the Black Panther, but doesn't anyone think that there are downsides to the marriage between the two of them ?

I mean for first things, it was created as a market ploy to lure more African American readers into the title, and it was also used under the Civil War banner to gain even more interest into the event at the time.

Ever since she was married she has done little to help out the X-men in their time of need. I mean she did make an appearance in Messiah Complex, and other minor appearance even given a supporting role in Astonshing X-men under Ellis writing, but that's it.

The whole "Worlds Apart" mini-series starting Storm just delayed the ongoing question on where does Storm truly belong to ?

I mean she didn't even help out the team in Utopia and who knows if she can help them out in Nation X.

Besides she's in Wakanda, which has a bit of a history with mistrusting outsiders. I mean, even some of it people tend to get annoyed when T'Challa, leaves for the states to join up with the Avengers or the Fantastic Four for a mission of fun, and look how they treated New X-men member Gentle.

When the King does return, it when Wakanda is near ruins and they need his help the most and the reason that some of the people are tolerating Storm is due to being the King's wife and all of her powers.

Now within the upcoming Doomswar it seems that Storm's playing the role of damesel in distress and requires the aid of her Husband and her "Family" to save her. I willing to bet when all is said and done that somehow someone is going to complain about how Ororo is spending too much time in Wakanada, when the Mutant race is near death.

I mean She may not even be involved in the Upcoming Second Coming for all we know.

I'm sorry, I mean this is just a rant, but I do ask you this: Doesn't anyone think it was a bad idea to have Storm married in the first place ?

I mean at times like these even I would have wished for Mephisto to do away with it all, and disliked OMD.

I have nothing against it really. Granted I've never read "Black Panther", and Im not that huge of a Storm fan.
