I guess we may not just have a solo villain movie after all.

Apparently, there's talk about Rachel McAdams as the Black Cat along with casting for a second male villain.

Hopefully, the second male villain isn't integral to the main story and is something like a thug who doesn't need a huge backstory or plot focus... someone like the Shocker.

Blah, I hope that Rachel McAdams casting turns out to be false. In my mind she really just doesn't look like Black Cat.

Yeah I just dont see it. My first choice has always been Eliza Dushku.

So now it seems Black Cat is more likely to be in SM4, are they completely scrapping the Lizard idea? Both of these villains have potential to not follow the formula of the previous films by having closure options without dying (BC reforming and Lizard being cured). And who the hell is this Viper person? The only Viper I can think of is female (contradicting the source) and not linked to Spider-Man.

Lizard and Black Cat might work. I'd like to see her done like she was in the Spider-Man 2 game though.

"She falls in love with Peter Parker, and uncovers his true identity. Her father then dies, and Hardy becomes a threat to Peter Parker."

Still, I wouldn't mind seeing Rachel McAdams dolled up as the Black Cat. She mentioned once that she would love to be Cheetara if there ever was a Thundercats live action film, so this is as close as she'll probably get to that chance.

Mania.com, one of the first to report the rumor suggests that Sony's casting an additional male villain, so now I'm curious as to what villain would work well with the Black Cat. Though it could just be her father.

There are also reports that British actress Romola Garai audtioned for the role.

I think Black Cat should be played by an actual porn star.

They know how to wear spandex outfits, they know how to entice men, and they are known for having large boobs and nice butts. Both prominent features of Black Cat.

Who cares if she can't act! No one else in the movies can... except J.J.J. they found the PERFECT man for his part.

You can get her to look like the Black Cat, but can she pull off the edge that Black Cat has. Black Cat is almost in your face with it. Mcadams just doesn't have that look. She doesn't come off as the its kind of fun to be bad and cut lose type, that would make Peter want to have a little fun.

If Rachel McAdams gets the role of Black Cat will be a cool choice to that role.

Spider-Man 4 is set to have its premiere in May 2011.So the closer the date come,more news will be anounced.

So far Rachel McAdams as Black Cat is the best thing anounced of that movie.
Hopefully a confirmation of the villains in Spider-Man 4 will be made soon as well.
