1) Who killed more people?
2) Who is more ruthless? 3) Who would beat each other in a fight?

1. Nazis - Don't quote me on this, but the Nazis probably killed more people than there were people in Spain at the time.
2. Nazis - at least the Spanish gave their victims the chance to convert to Catholicism. Nazis would kill you because of your supposedly inferior blood. No mercy. 3. Nazis - Umm, duh?? Nazis stomp. |

Nazis in all three. And Soviet Russia(particularly under Stalin) would be a better match for them.

What? That fight lasted for several years. Hardly a stomp, I say.

Without surprise, I don't think Germany would have done as well as it had. Soviet weapons were slightly inferior, but the main problem was Stalin, for some insane reason, believed in his heart that Hitler would not break their agreement and attack the Soviets. From what I remember, Stalin was in shock for many many days, slowing Soviet defenses and retreats.

We're fine discussing military might, historical facts, that sort of thing.
It's when we get into religion and politics that things go out the window. |

At 3; the Nazis would win in both aspects of "with all resources" and in "hand to hand."

The way i see it ,
Stalin was a genius on the strategic geopolitic level while he pretty much sucked at most other things. Hitler was better than Stalin on a purely tactical level and helping his army enforce the blitzerg strategy , but on a geopolitic strategic level he was inferior to not only Stalin but to many many many people. |

Hitler was a moron in the arts of war. I do not recall if he pushed for blitzkrieg strategy and tactics, but that was his one huge lucky guess. My favorite of his failures was when he took far too long to reinforce Army Group Center (or was it South?) in the campaign against Stalingrad, and then sent in troops right when they were flanked and encircled, resulting in total loss for an entire army group.
