Your new best friend

Sometime tomorrow a young man walks up to you and informs you that he is your new best friend.

*insert sex/murder/flight/I live on the moon and this is impossible comment here*

After whatever you attempt, he is perfectly fine, and informs you that he is something he calls a "creativity monster" who is a bundle of energies of the human mind that come out of humans generating new ideas.

Your new friend explains that you are specially attuned to the creative energies that create his kind, and he wants to use you to create a new member of his kind by making you force out creative energies.

Your friend now explains that he is going to force you engage in creative pursuits until you manage to create one of his kind. He will follow you around, forcing you to engage in activities involving creation of creative works. Your friend will interrupt anything else you try to do and get you into a mode of writing. He will try to help you increase the quality of your work, and give great help and advice, even giving access to major support for your chosen mode (want a movie studio, you got it) of expression.

As a note, your new friend is completely impossible to harm or convince in any way, and has strange reality warping powers governed by rules he cannot explain, causing wacky adventures to ensue when you try to escape or fight him, or a good chunk of the time.

Your friend happily chatters on about how good friends you two will be, and how you're sure to generate enough energy in ten or twenty years to create a new member of his kind.

As a last, sad, note, he tells you that if you don't help him and engage in creative activities, humanity is doomed to lose inspiration and spiral into a new Dark Age.

He'll probably curse his luck when I tell him I'm an Industrial Designer, and that creativity is, literally, my business. He'll then curse his fate when he realizes that tapping into the creative energies of a fully trained and experienced Designer of any kind will cause his kind to undergo SPIRAL NEMESIS. And finally, he will simply curse.

When the next one of his kind I create talks, moves and acts just liike HANMA YUJIRO.

Well eah, but apperently he needs something more than the raw, chaotic, and quickly fleeting bursts of creativity you get if you're not trying. He apperently needs something, BIG, creative, and apperently relativly permanent.

So he should be VERY happy with whatever I deside to as a follow-up to my basement. I just have to descide what that is...

He helps me write a book. During the writing process another one of his species should be created. Afterward we shake hands and part ways, both better for the experience. I helped start his species, and he helped me publish a book. Everything turned out OK.

Incidentally, this reminds of me of the "Calliope" story in Sandman. Except with less rape involved.

"You know, I could be inspired to new acts of creativity if I were hanging out with several attractive women who would do anything to please me. Could conjure some up?"

"You know, I would have more time to be creative if I had immortality like Claire and Adam Monroe from Heroes. Could you grant me such?"

And so on, and so on. You get the idea.

I would of course, live up to my end of this arrangement by engaging in creative pursuits. I got some ideas for books, movies, and tv shows that I could work on if I had all of the above. And gaming, one of my hobbies, is a pretty creative activity.
