Blathering Blatherskites!

Does Drake Mallard have anything in his standard equip that would help him against Fenton Crackshell a.k.a. GizmoDuck? Or do Gizmo's armor/weapons just give him too much of an edge?

I think they had a few near-fights in the cartoon, but nothing really conclusive. But with a bit of strategy, DW stands a chance: a smoke bomb to confuse GD, a bit of high explosive to open a few cracks, then some water to cause a short-circuit, that sort of stuff..

But could GizmoDuck blitz before that happened? How fast is he on that one wheel?

Gizmoduck is a slightly oblivious powerhouse. He's had the advantage in straight-up fights with Darkwing but loses in scenarios.

For example, during the steelbeak team-up episode, Gizmoduck fought Darkwing in a warehouse. Both were rendered breathless, but Darkwing had an injured arm and his hat was on fire. However, earlier on, Darkwing had let Gizmoduck flounder in a crushed pile of theatre seats, his single wheel poorly suited to keeping him upright in such terrain.

Bloodlust on, PIS off, Darkwing goes straight into 'Let's get dangerous!' mode. Gizmo probably has his armored suit turned against himself in record time.

Darkwing was WAY more agile and could Usually dodge anything Gizmoduck threw at him. Then again Gizmoduck was usually tough enough to tank anything Darkwing could hit him with, to the point where at the end of one of the episodes he was willingly letting Darkwing bash the suit (with him in it) with a sledgehammer "to knock out the dents".
