Awesome. Nice to see this project is finally moving along. Hopefully it turns out better than the ill-fated Red Circle event.

Though I dislike that they are once again not using Static's original Milestone design.

I know darling, but like it or not that's the design most people are more fammiliar with, outside of comics. I'm guessing DC are trying to bring in fans of the cartoon by using it.

Also YAY! More Donner and Blitzen. Those two won me over in their quick appearance in JLA. So very cute

It was also nice to see a gay couple in comics without it being a big deal, with it just being shown matter of factly. We need more of that in comics and the media

And GREAT to see Denys Cowan is coming back to comics!!

I believe he's also doing the Blackest Night: Question story.

Of all DC's upcoming projects this has me the most nervous. I don't want Renee to be another pointless, gratuitous death in this whole "Blackest Night" thing. I've already had to watch three characters I like killed off in a stupid and insulting fashion, I don't want DC to make it four

why? he looked corny as hell in his original outfit..
but now he looks like he shops for boots at the same store Black canary does

Most people expect just about everyone to die..thats why you don't see "OMG they killed so and so in Blackets night" threads anymore

Exactly. Though thankfully, not all artists draw him with the horrid pirate boots.

its the boots in the picture i'm refering too, Black canary dumped the Pirate boots along time ago

OMG how hard can it be to find a picture of Black canarys boots? seeriusly..

Ahhhh f***it, i'll just post this statue

thats the kind of boots shes been wearing for quite a few years now.. like since the start of BOP (Heels only by a few select artist)

I know that. I was pointing out that THANKFULLY, certain artists don't draw Virgil with the god awful pirate boots.

Does anybody find the title really ironic? As in, will this be the LAST thing DC does with the Milestone characters, at least in a long while? (Unless they strike it big with fans, but I don't really expect that.)

Too bad; I always liked the concept behind the Milestone characters (more minority heroes) but I never liked the characters themselves; except Static, and only after he was seriously re-tooled for the TV show.
