Dick Grayson's Love Life Status

He has been engaged to Starfire and Barbara Gordon. Raped by Tarantula who tried to form an actual relationship with him afterward and had a few other romantic encounters with other supporting characters but what is his current status regarding his love life?

Is he still in a holding pattern with Barbara or has that been done away with?

Something I'd like to see is twisted romantic relationship forming between Dick and Selina, i.e. they know they shouldn’t but can't help themselves. When Bruce returns that could be an interesting source of tension to act as a counterpoint to the happiness of his return.

Right now Dick is single, but he'll find his way back to Babs eventually. They still playfully flirt, and there's still obvious sexual tension between the two. Plus their meant to be .

No, just no. That is definitely not needed, it would do no good for either characters.

Then why do it? Because there no real story there except bad T.V. soup opera crap, and both characters would come out looking incredibly sleazy.

But its an unneeded source of tension. It would only come off forced and like i said sleazy. Both Dick and Selina are better than that.

Dick perhaps but Selina has been mind wiped, had a child, consorted with and acted as a criminal for years. Her moral guidelines are still very gray.

As to it being un-needed, I'd rather there be some tension between him and Dick i.e. Bruce being over critical of Dick's way of "portraying" Batman as it is too stark a difference to his own method.

Selina might be morally gray but she's not sleazy.

If u want tension there are plenty of other, less tasteless, ways. They might even be able to use Damian if they wanted.

I'd prefer to see him rekindle his thing with Starfire, especially now that they're going to be on the Justice League together. Not with Babs though. I like their relationship as being kind of a tragic one. They could've been, but they missed their chance and have gone on separate paths.

Not sure I'd really care to see him hook up with Selina.

Im sorry but that sound's more like Dick and Kory. Dick has moved on, but Kory still want to hold on to yesterday. It stops her from evolving as a character if u ask me, because Dick can never really rekindle his thing with Starfire because she just stands out too much. She just doesn't fit in his solo career, so she usually just ends up as a Titan booty call.

If anything where to happen between Dick and Selina it doesn’t even have to be physical, something that respondents to the thread don't seem to realise.

Selina could be in love with the Batman figure as opposed to the man behind the cowl, regardless of the fact she knows who Bruce is.

When I say twisted I don't necessarily mean sleazy/kinky/unwholesome in a physical sense. It could be a head games scenario.

It's the Titans that holds back Kory's character. Hell, it's the Titans that holds back almost all of those characters.

Dick took off from Gotham to become his own man. Babs' became crippled and reinvented herself to become her own person again. Now, they're both two very independent people. They love each other, but I sure can't see them working as a full-time couple like they might've been able to become when they were Robin and Batgirl. She'd never settle down to become a main part of his support team, and he'd never step down to become one of her agents. Both are too driven to do their own things, and those things don't really mesh together.

That wouldn't portray Selina very favorably, it would make her look incredibly shallow. Plus it would be a rip off of the Black Cat and Spider-Man.
