Death of the Endless searches for...THE APPRENTICE!
After 1001 reality TV shows DeeDee, Death of the Endless, comes upon a novel idea to lighten her workload: FIND HERSELF AN APPRENTICE!
 She scours the fictional multiverse for potential candidates, and then decides to advertise and promote her show wholesale. Who can become the Apprentice of Death itself, and who will be FIRED?

Because this whole apprentice thing worked so well when Death of the Discworld tried it.
I believer reality had to be ducttaped back together after that.
