Default Legends of the Dark Knight

How in continuity/when do a lot of the arcs in LotDK happen? I'm finding it hard to pinpoint when these issues take place. In addition, I've heard people write off different stories as just not in continuity, is the entire series that way(excluding the titles that are obviously connected to larger arcs).

I started a thread for this title earlier. This sums it up.

That doesn't particularly bother me, but some people dislike the idea of "fuzzy continuity" (which is one way I've heard LOTDK described), and some people have read and enjoyed some of LOTDK's arcs without realizing that "we are not necessarily in continuity" was the title's original mission statement. Then they are shocked and/or angry when somebody tells them that no matter how much they loved a particular story, the Batman of "modern continuity" may not remember any such thing ever happening in his life!

I have read the first three arcs and it would seem that they fall into the end of Year One and the begining of Year Two. That would be my guess

They're as in continuity as you like; assuming they don't contradict something, you can always fit the in if you want to.

Some are, some aren't. Overall this was a good series with a lot of good stories. Just enjoy them for what they are and don't worry about trying to fit everything into continuity.

A lot of them are set in his early years. A few are current, tie ins to the other books. Some are elseworlds, or whatever your favorite term is.

Personally, I don't worry about it too much. Makes things easier

That's simply great advice. It is an excellent read.
