Is Iron Fist canceled? I just looked through the Marvel page and didn't find any upcoming issues?
Anyone know whats going on? GG |

The book was put on hiatus, replaced for the time being by the Immortal Weapons miniseries (related to the series but focusing on other folks besides Danny Rand).
Not sure if the book is coming back after Immortal Weapons ends...

Unrelated but related guesstimate on why; Its the economy. Consumer products across the board are slumping a bit.
A few paper mills that I have dealings with have closed. Which I translate to as---less people buying books.

I've been working under the assumption that it is cancelled since they announced it 'hiatus.'
I think the best thing to do would be to release a new Iron Fist/Luke Cage book. |

Well on one hand that kinda sucks, on the other hand it'll be one less book I'm buying. I guess Spider Woman will take it's place.

I think it will continue as LS once, sometimes twice, a year. Something similar to Ghost Rider & Moon Knight.
I don't think that's official, just my perception of how pieces are being used in Marvel. |

I'd like to get a Iron Fist/Cage book done by the folks that did that Thunderbolts issue.

Remender would do a great Luke Cage/Iron Fist book. I'd buy that in a flash.

The Immortal Weapons series still has two months to go, so I wouldn't expect it back immediately even if the "on hiatus" thing doesn't actually mean "canceled" (which it probably does).
That said, if it's going to be Swierczynski again, I wouldn't mind a little more time off. His run hasn't done a whole lot for me. His backups are the weakest part of the Immortal Weapons series. |

Frankly, it should have ended when Brubaker/Fraction left.

Bring David Aja back. That will sell. Who needs dialogue anyways? Just a few baloons here and there describing which kung fu move Danny kicks some other dude's ass with should be good enough.
Marvel Pulp starring Orson Randall...make it happen. |
