Default Why do i hate spiderman so much now?

thinking about it and from the old fashion spiderman, loved him, but then spiderman just started (in the new comics) doing stupid stuff and fighting bigger people and stuff and i just think its dumb. is there anybody else out there with reasoning about why spiderman today is good?
and nobody get the wrong idea or anything, i still like the stories now, but come on he needs to be more how spiderman shoulda been.

Habe you been reading the last stories of ASM?

The last stories have been good in my opinion, and show a Spider-Man that is written as the character should be.

Well, there are certainly those who feel there is just something off about Spider-Man right now -- but there are just as many people who think the character's never been better. Likely what you're referring to is that littleindefinable something that varies between individuals.

Or, as Father Murphy once put it, "Well, it's a mystery."

I think it's because of Old Man Jenkins. That guy's been up to no good down at the Old Mill, and I think he may have something to do with it.

Ouch. That's potentially a horrible pun!

Do you hate him as much as you hate capital letters?

Do you still find yourself dwelling on OMD and how bad it was and how they ruined everything forever?
Not saying you are or anything mind you, but if you still have baggage from that it might influence how you percieve things now.

I'm still suprised that they haven't gotten Peter to sell his soul to Mephisto to bring back Uncle Ben.
