1. all fictional characters are now (near)omnipotent-level.

2. all fictional characters are now mid-tier.

3. all fictional characters are now bottom-tier.

How does this change all of fiction for us?

At options 2 and 3, Doom and the like just build something to boost themselves back to their former level.

Nothing said they had to stay like that, after all.

Once the "novelty" of everyone doing everything wears off, it'll be boring and meaningless, and most fights will consist of a lot of narrative hyperbole just to try and accurately describe the power levels/actions being thrown around, which makes fights drag even more.

Now, same power level does not mean the same types of powers, and do to the sheer diversity of abilities, this could be a good way to make interesting fights on a much more even playing field (although some powers are just naturally better than others anyway).

Well, see above, I guess, except I imagine the lack of strong powers means that physical skills are going to count for the most, so it comes down to who the best martial artists are, or who has the deadliest guns. That'll get dull after a while, though.

Wouldn't the fact that they are all equal in power make it even easier for kabuto?

His skill and speed seems far greater than most riders.

I can totally see him hyper clocking up and aoe energy blade wave blitz em all.

The he-man universe becomes a lot more interesting if all players are equalized.

DBZ becomes more like DB again which it was more based on skill and techniques then the next power up. And on the note, finally the non-Sayains are useful again and Piccolo kicks Vegeta's ass.
