You fall into a vat of chemicals
And this vat happens to be one found in the Ace Chemical Processing Plant. For whatever reason, you are also wearing a tuxedo and a red metal hood at the time.
In other words, you turn into The Joker. You are spared the skin-bleaching and hair-turning-green parts, but in exchange, your mouth is permanently warped into a smile. With some conscious effort, you can twist your mouth into a neutral expression, but you cannot frown. And for whatever reason, you can no longer cry. Your eyes still produce tears and stuff, but you can no longer shed tears for emotional reasons. No matter how much you want to. Doing so will only result in you laughing against your will. How is your life affected (if at all)?

I blow my meager savings on plastic surgery and psychotherapy. What else can I do? I still hope to keep working and maintaining some kind of social life for the next few decades.
