Best & Worst fictional space police force !?
Almost everyone knows who the Green Lantern Corps is, or Buzz Lightyear of Star Command.
However very few know that most galactic police forces get their roots from E. E. Smith's novel series The Lensman. So in honor of the Lensman series... In your opinion who is the best & worst intergalactic police force in fiction?

A thread about space police forces and no one has mentioned the Tenchi Muyo Galaxy Police?
They're huge, fairly efficient, their headquarters is made up of multiple ring-worlds, they all have blatantly superhuman physical stats due to nanomachine enhancements and as of GXP, they apparently hand out lightsabers to their officers as standard equipment. What's not to love?

Does the police force have to be made up of living beings?
If not, I'll nominate the original robotic Manhunters created by the Guardians of the Universe in the category of worst. They malfunctioned, killed millions, were replaced, and ended up becoming violent enemies of their replacements. Just imagine if a cop not only got fired for killing someone, but later went on to try & kill the cop who took his job! That's what the Manhunters did, but on an intergalactic scale involving millions of beings....
