Best book on the shelves month in and month out, and I'm really enjoying The Gnawing.

I love this damn book. Probably some of the best storytelling on Vertigo right now.

SCALPED is a raw and brutal comic, that doesn't hold back any punches...and I LOVE IT FOR THAT!

the first time I read it (the first tpb from my local library), several years ago now, the amount of profanity and violence really put me off. I hated the book!

Cut to a year later and I continue to read great reviews about the book online. I decided to give it a second chance and went back to my library to check it out again. Read it all in one day and it started to grow on me (after looking past what put me off the first time). I immediately bought the second trade and that was even better IMO. I immediately hunted down the whole run on eBay (got a great price for them too) and have been hooked ever since!

Aaron needs to *CHAIN* R.M. Guerra to a drawing board, so he/she will never leave Scalped! The artwork is just amazingly good...

Want a break from super-heroes? This is the book to try...
