Default Rumblers League 3: World War Rumblers!

World War Rumblers!

The Challenged: whoever accepts, (provided they can fit within the rules) there is 3 openings.

The Premise: Tyrannosaurus Reich, breaks away from the Beasts of Burden, bringing with him, Hiro, Multipleman, and John Sheppard, who decide to lead an army to invade other Rumblers territories.

Each Rumbler will use the characters from their team that are 5 and under. They are not allowed to bring any items with them that are priced over 5, but are allowed to bring with them any items priced under 6, that their team has, (for example Hiro, could use Magneto's helmet even though Circe has it). These characters will also be responsible for leading an army of your home venue's NPC's (provided the NPC's would be priced under 6, this decision would be my choice).

The Battlefield: The map is split into 4 quarters, with each quarter being 5 kilometers square, and exactly resembling your home venue in which you will start in. I have figured out each quarter to be as follows Top Left - Mine 1933's New York, Top Right Estrecca the Godsea, Bottom Left, KJS and Fudgekp the Savage Land, and Bottom Right, Munch's Town Toon. (this was done by Random draw). Outside of the 20 km battle field is shielded off along the perimeter keeping all teams on the battle field from straying off the sides.

The Time: This Wednesday, the 21th of October.

The Catch: Your team's speed is capped at 150 kmph (approximately 93 mph), and telepathy and mindcontrol is prohibited.

WORLD WAR RUMBLERS

My enemies tonight have overall better teams and troops that are at least comparable in quality (if not better), so my strat relies heavily on the uniqueness of my home turf and hoping that the others will try to wipe out each other before going for me.

STAGE 1: THE MAGNET GAMBIT - Toontown Raid

Initially, the submarine fleet will remain in the depths of my quarter, moving around to avoid possible attacks from above and protected by the sea creatures. As for my characters, Agatha will crack the Tiger Talisman and Obelix' curse will be activated to create a clone, while Aragorn will be using Vilya to detect the approach of enemies (invisible or otherwise) and one of Agatha's Dingbots will be activated inside Bender's chest cavity and told to go nuts.

After this, five of the submarines carrying Yang Agatha (with all the items) and the Clone Obelix will head towards the border with Toontown territory. Upon reaching the shore, the wizards will heat the seawater to make a steam cloud hot enough to scald defenders standing near the waterline and give the main characters some magical protections, before surfacing. The primary goal of this raid is to steal an Acme Magnet (either by capturing Gadget's or stealing/purchasing one elsewhere in Toontown, which might be a possibility considering that horseshoe magnets are one of Acme's mainstays).

The moment the magnet is secured, Yang Agatha will release a couple of Dingbots (with orders to replicate like crazy) and head back to the subs with the intention of leaving while Clone Obelix coves the rearguard and wreaks as much havoc as he can.

STAGE 2: THE CLANK SWARM - New York Invasion.

While Yin Agatha combines the cartoon magnet with the power source of her death-ray (duplicated by the breaking of the Tiger Talisman) to make a super-magnet, Yang Agatha will now head west in the company of Bender and fifteen subs (the sea critters and the five remaining submarines stay behind with Yin Agatha, Aragorn and Obelix Prime).

After repeating the steam cloud attack to wipe out possible defenders of the waterline, Bender and Agatha will start moving around, using the sewers and planting Dingbots all over the place, waiting for the little things to reach critical mass. Considering their potential for exponential growth and the sheer amount of metal in a place like New York, it is likely that I will have millions of the little buggers in a matter of a few hours.

With such numbers and the support of my own assault force, taking down Stigma Rex' forces will be a trivial matter, particularly after the clanks start taking over the equipment of the US army and with the support of my own troops.

Hiro Nakamura will be located using magic and put to sleep with a spell.

Multiple Man will be swarmed by vastly superior numbers, beaten silly and his Dalek machine guns taken for the use of my robot troops.

T-Reich can be killed with purely conventional means with no need to use anything special.

And Commander Sheppard's Puddle Jumper will be taken down using Agatha's raygun as soon as its position is revealed either through detection magic or by its firing drone missiles. Of course, the same applies to the military biplanes and all downed fliers will be cannibalized by the dingbots.

STAGE 3: THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE - Endgame.

Using all the material gained from the conquest of the New York quarter, the dingbot horde will head south to soften as much as possible the army of the Savage Land, while the rest of my troops retreat once again to the submarines.

In the relative safety of the bottom of the Goodsea, Yang Agatha will claim the Super-Magnet and work alongside her Yin counterpart to turn the magitech ultrasonic emitters mounted in the submarines into an actual sonic weapon.

After this is done, I'll throw everything I have left against Toontown. Bender will combine with the Dingbots left behind to make a Giant Bender which, alongside Obelix and his clone and the devices of the Agathas shouldn't have a lot of trouble taking out the cartoon US army and MunchKING's team. The Luggage, potentially the more troublesome enemy fighter, will be contained by the Obelix clone (if Cohen the Barbarian could do it, so can my Gaul) or thrown by the Giant Bender into space.

To end the party, my troops will head into the Savage Land quarter. Magic, the giant robot and Agatha's raygun will work in tandem to take out the more conventional superpowered members of the native army (and find those who are invisible now thanks to items), while the CyberDragon will be killed by using the supermagnet to rip the Borg nanites out of its body and the Tripod will be taken down with the sonic weapon (those shields most certainly didn't block sound).

And that's that. Sorry if this sucks, but I really couldn't devote more time to this match. I'll be dropping a number of links about the goddamn dingbots during the match.

To start Sgt. Pork will be in charge of defensive fortifications, and toon defense at Toon Town. In the time it took his brothers to throw some Hay or sticks together, he’d build a fortress capable of repelling Blitz Wolf. (1:00) Between him, a small number of Infantry, he should be able to repel invasions all day. If things get Really bad he shell the other lands with a REALLY LONG cannon. (5:45).

The rest of my troops will be going on the offensive. The Spitfires will fly aerial missions shooting (With their fiery-Spit, natch) down the cheap biplanes and such over New York. In a classic case of “Technology (and parodies thereof) marches on”, the WWI era planes should be NO MATCH for cutting edge WWII stuff. They will (afterwards) fly over the Savage land and shoot down any flying dinos (Or heroes) they see. Even misses should have a disastrous effect on that much wood and kindling (at least for anything living there).

Then the Bombers can move in. These things were designed to bomb Tokyo after taking off in Alaska (in a fairly serious cartoon too) so they have more than the range they need to hit any square foot we want them to. Their job is to bomb the hell out of the opposing armies, both in New York and the Savage Land. We’ll load Goofy on one of them and tell him we want a picture perfect bombing run. What we’ll GET is something perfect for one of his pictures (IE Cartoons), but that will have to do. As seen at 6:20 here when he tried that with a missile in a ship he ended up sinking some 10+ Japanese heavy battleships, as well as the entire Land of the Rising Sun. I expect he’ll manage to blow New York to tiny bits, but I’m not sure how.

In order to take the enemy by complete surprise, My ground attack branches of the team will split into 4 groups. Commando Donald Duck is ordered to comb the Savage Lands, find the enemy army, and wipe it out. We don’t care how, and it’ll probably be by massive screw-ups on his part, but it will happen. We await with great interest the communiqué that says [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4XVRR1F1DPA]”Contacted enemy. Wiped… Washed out Same.”[/quote] I could BE so lucky as to find out he drained the Good Sea to do it. Lest you think I drafted a monster character and lied about him being less than 5 points, because I sent him to take down lots of Dinos, He won’t be able to do it under his own power. I’m expecting him to use the terrain to comedic (and devastating) effect like he did in the cartoon.

Commando Daffy was ordered to infiltrate the enemy heroes and either punch them out like he did Hitler or trick them into defeating each other, depending on whichever seems most inappropriate at the time.
My team, moving with all the teamwork and competence they’ve had to date, will advance on the Good Sea front. We’ll quickly take out any opposition in the opponents team, then move out to take on their army. They will take a good deal of the camo troops with them, but they will be defeating the enemy marine life/subs.

I figure Princess Zelda can easily beat Aragon. She can fly and has a sword of Breaking stuff. As long as it’s one of the cartoons where she’s in Action Hero Girl mode, she’ll run right over him.

Batduck will have order some super high-tech ACME tracker goggles as well as a vast array of deadly guns, Ammo, and pies. Hopefully this will let him find Agatha and defeat her. If not, she can be pied. If no one on my team can find her, and she heads into my turf, I’m claiming she’ll get wiped out in the blasts of my indirect fire at the rest of her team.

Sam gives Obelisk (one of them anyway) the Wardrobe. The Boggart will reveal the scariest most horrifying think he can think of. His friend coming up and telling him the Romans have given up. There’s no more Romans to fight. Then he goes on to explain everyone else has given up. There’s no one left for Obelisk to fight! He becomes so depressed he goes catatonic. (Well hopefully. If not, it should at least distract him for a while.)

The other one (the curse only makes them twins right?) will be chased down and eaten by the Luggage. Assuming this is THE Luggage from all the books, it’s badass enough it kicked three other Luggages’ asses, treed them on top of a tall building, and stole their girl Luggage. As soon as he left, they headed for the high country. The people found two of them much, much later.

Without the Orange Lantern ring, Darkwing could Easily take Bender.


Which leaves Duck Dodgers, Duck Vader, Inspector Gadget, Yosemite Sam, Magic Carpet, Bowler's Bowling Ball, Hammer Horse, D-Generation X-Man, & Decoy the Pig Hostage to deal with any unexpected situations with the fight.
Duck Dodgers can shoot people with the Light Zapper, Hammer horse of course has Hammers capable of KOing Bowser in seconds, and decoy draws fire from all around. I should win on dint of numbers of main characters if nothing else. Between the Bombers and the Spitfires, the Savage Land and New York ought to be rubble by this point, but if not my troops will advance to those lands we haven’t beaten yet and beat the crap out of the inhabitants.

Of course they will fight will all the comedic power and intelligence they have, up to and including plans I haven’t thought of yet.

Round One - The Shadow Masters
Sound Track: Muse - Knights of Cydonia

Hiro: will split the Tiger Talisman, then the good Hiro (who will have the ring) will teleport onto Sheppard's Jumper, and take a life sign detector, then teleport next to Multipleman, and give him it, then he will grab him and slow time. (the time slow will increase both of them to be moving at 150 KMPH). Evil Hiro will grab onto Jimmy and slow time. He will then grab a Multipleman dupe (the dupe will drop his tommy guns when Evil Hiro grabs him), and teleports into Sheppard's Jumper, where both will grab pistols, from the ships weapon's cache. When Sheppard flies over the tripod Hiro will teleport the two of them into it, and both will shoot Chucky with their pistols aiming at his heart. Hiro will then grab Chucky (regardless of if he's dead) and teleport high above the battlefield, and then release him, and teleport back to his home venue.
Out: Chucky

Notes- a life's sign detector is a device that picks up the energy given off by life, and thus can sense invisible targets

Notes - If good Hiro is feeling skirmish, the army commander will give him a good pep talk to get in line

John Sheppard: will cloak his Puddle Jumper, and fly high above the battlefield, towards the Savage Land, searching for the tripod. Once they teleport out he will find Sally using his sensors and unload a payload of Drones at her, staying high in the atmosphere, to avoid any aerial enemies enemy. He will then target any human shaped beings that are down in the savage lands. He will use his ship's sensors to target any invisible ones. Once this is done he will fly back to his home venue to help there staying at a high altitude,
Out: Sally, Rayne, most of the mutates

Notes - If Sally does not go down to repetitive Drone shots, Sheppard will retreat back to his home venue.

Multipleman - Once Hiro has slowed time for him, and given him the Life signs detector, he will start multiplying as fast as he can, once his numbers are in the high hundreds (around 500, this shouldn't be a problem because of MGH) he will start handing his spare tommy guns out to the soldiers on his team (each dupe should have at least 2 tommy guns on him). Then he will spread him self out within the ranks of his team. He will be useing the Life signs detectors to search for invisible opponents.
Out: No one yet, but my team is well equipped now

Multipleman in the Tripod- march the tripod right back to his home venue heat raying any dinosaurs that get in his way.
Out- anyone that tries to stop the Tripod

Tyrannosaurs Reich: will take to the skies and lead the biplanes against any air assault. He will try to conserve ammo as much as possible. He will also make sure no bombers get to the buildings where my team is located. If Gaza or anyone else is using intangibility, and my team can't hurt him, Reich will fly down and eat him, using the Power Pellet.
Out: any air assault against my team, any intangibles

Soldiers and Jimmy/Jack: will take positions on the border of the savage lands in the buildings along the border, aiming through the windows, and waiting for any approaching dinosaurs and mutates, that climb out of the bushes from the savage lands. The tommy guns provided by Multipleman will be able to kill the dinosaurs, seeing how they managed to get through a Dalak's shield.
Out: any dinosaurs and mutates from the Savage Land

King Kong - will take rear guard with some multiplemen/soldiers, keeping an eye out for any army approaching from behind. They will be aided by the air force and Reich.
Out- any army approaching from the back.

Notes - if the advancing army becomes to much for my rear guard, they will retreat and regroup with my front lines, who will turn around and take out the advancing army.

Artillery - will line up in positions that will let them bombard Border of the Savage Land. They will be protected by a few Multiplemen and soldiers.
Out- anyone who charges the border from the Savage Lands

Both Hiros: will teleport around my front lines, and occasionally check back with the rear guard, helping were possible. Good Hiro will keep an eye out for Ring users, and counter them by teleporting next to them while he is in mid swing with his sword.

By the end of this round, The Shadow Masters should be out, either through a charge on my front lines, or possibly by another team that manages to get to them before they attack me. My team will recover any items that are useful from the enemy team.

The Soldiers/Multipleman - will reposition themselves self in a similar way, taking covers in new buildings facing the God Sea. They will use troop transport trucks to travel faster. If possible the Multiplemen will continue to multiply. The Dalek enhanced tommy guns should provide an edge against the sea creatures, seeing how they could overwhelm even Dalek shields. This should also work against Bender and Obliex.
Out - any Submarines, sharks, and squids that pass through the border, Obliex, Aragorn, and Bender

Notes- if the enemies from You Win Some You Lose Some, are already attacking or are spotted approaching

Tyrannosaurus Reich- will continue to lead the air force against aerial enemies. As he did before he will again make sure no bombers reach my buildings, and will use ammo conservatively. He will also use his speed advantage on the sea life and subs of the enemy team.
Out - any enemies that approach the border between New York and the God Sea.

John Sheppard- will remain at a high altitude, where he should be relatively safe and fire drones at approaching enemies. He will also provide support to the rear guard and air force were needed, and use his sensors to pick out invisible enemies.
Out - any enemies that approach the border between New York and the God Sea.

The Tripod - will stand with most of the artilary positioned underneath its shields, to provide them cover. It will fire its heat ray at any enemies that come into range. It will focus on taking out the submarines.
Out- any enemies that approach the border between New York and the God Sea.

Both Hiros - will again be teleporting along the front lines, and the rear guard providing support where needed. Both Hiros will also target both Agathas, the good one, taking out the one with the Ring, using the teleport/slash technique stated before. If possible they will take the tiger talisman pieces (after they beat her) and put them back together, then give it to Reich who will split it.
Out: Agatha

Artillery: will again be firing upon the border at any enemies that cross, focusing on submarines.
Out- any enemies that approach the border between New York and the God Sea.

King Kong: will again lead the rear guard, with some Multiplemen/soldiers in trucks, with mounted machine guns. If they are out numbered they will retreat to the front, where the rest of my army will help out.

Multipleman/Soldiers - Will remain in cover, going into new buildings if the ones they are in are too damaged. Again they will take cover, and fire at incoming enemies. The Dalek machine guns should work effectively against the toons seeing as they are firing death rays(something which most toons aren't defended against), and not bullets.
Out: any enemies that approach them

Jimmy and Jack: fire upon enemies that approach them. They will aim specifically at Duck Vader's flame thrower once it gets in range.
Out: Duck Vader

John Sheppard: will take out any incoming aircraft with his Jumper, shooting them down. He will also do the same to the toons after he defeats the aircraft.
Out: All Toon Town planes, and later all toons

Tyrannosaurus Reich: will continue to lead the biplanes against the enemy air force, including the magic carpet.
Out: The enemy air force

Both Hiros: will keep an eye out for any toons that don't go down from the gunfire. Good Hiro will also be watching for the Luggage, once he sees it he will teleport next to it and grab it (making sure he doesn't get hit by his own guys, then teleport into the Godsea, where it should sink, to the bottom. Being invisible and moving much faster then the Luggage, and because his powers aren't magic this should work. Evil Hiro will do the same thing to remove any toons that get inside the buildings were my troops are fortified in.
Out: Any toons that don't go down to gun fire,

Tripod: will continue guarding the Artillery, and will fire its heat ray at any enemies that approach, focusing on the aircraft.
Out: All enemies that come within range

Artillery: will fire upon enemies that come in range.

Kong: will stay at the back with some soldiers and Mutliplemen, making sure my team doesn't get flanked. If the enemy aircraft are flying low, he will climb a tall building, and swat them down. His invisibility should help him a lot here,
Out: any enemies that try to flank my team.

As this is a war, we will have a formative strategy:

The Basics
- The Tripod will be our backbone - with a shield that can easily protect against anything that any of the opposing teams can dish out. Chucky will be using the Tripod to blast all major threats, turning them to dust.
- Remaining behind the Tripod shields at ALL times will be Sally, Lorelei, Lupo, Whiteout and Vertigo with the One Ring.
- Rayne, Stegron, Gaza and Barbarus will be the major physical threats on the outside (given that they will all be invisible and shielded, utilising their objects as such).
- Amphibius will take a great leap into the nearby water to prevent sea-based opponents from coming on to land and posing a threat (this is a guy who has gone toe-to-toe with Spider-Man and can move just as quick underwater).
-The remaining named characters will split up in to teams:
Ka-Zar and Zabu
Devil Dinosaur and Moon-Boy
- The army of Savage Land dinosaurs should be on our side and attacking anyway, but if that's an issue they will be psionically controlled from behind our immense shielding to attack anything that moves (by the likes of Lupo).

The Strategy: Part 1

The Tripod
Chucky will be using the Tripod to systematically blast the strongest, visible opponents, starting with the likes of Multiple Man and working its way down the pecking order (Agatha, Reich, Darkwing, Luggage etc). Given that the Tripod is by far the most powerful item in this fight, no one will be penetrating its shielding, so this could effectively win the war on its own. However, we won't assume that for the purpose of interest. Modern military, en masse, couldn't touch the Tripods, so submarines and 1930's armed forces etc will do nothing to it.
The Tripod will blast underwater too, taking out underwater characters and submarines.
Out: Whoever/whatever the Tripod blasts (and that will be ALOT of people/vehicles/submarines).

The Backline (Sally, Lorelei, Lupo, Whiteout & Vertigo)
All of the above are safely behind the Tripod's shielding, which will not be penetrated. Additionally, Sally and Vertigo are totally invisible, and Sally has her aura allowing only 50% of attacks on her to hit her anyway, and Vertigo is massively enhanced by the One Ring (We would wager that this group behind the Tripod's shielding could win this on their own, nevermind the additional offensive help from the Tripod itself and our invisible frontline etc).
Sally: Will be casting spells such as "Mass Hold Person" and, if anyone gets too close, "Mass Critical Wounds". This former will ensure opponents stand in place and are easy targets, and the latter will ensure no one gets close enough to compromise the shielding (not that anyone can remotely affect it anyway).
Lorelei: Will be singing loudly, specifically targeting the male opposing characters on the outside, causing mass paralysis (the likes of Kong, Hiro, Multiple Man, Shepard, Aragorn, Obelix, Gadget & Sam). This should effectively take out alot of big players.
Lupo: Will be ensuring no dinosaurs run off or turn on our team, controlling them into attacking the opposition in the case of any of them straying. If all the dinosaurs die, or if they don't require controlling, Lupo will advance out of the shielding and attack people physically. Lupo is a formidable fighter (trained by the Swamp Men tribe) who will use his super strength speed, agility and powerful claws to rip through his opponents, killing them - he'll go mainly for the toon animals.
Whiteout: Will be psionically selecting troublesome individuals to be on the receiving end of her blinding flash. Because she can select them with her mind, she will first focus on the invisible opponents, such as Hiro, Kong and Agatha. Afterwards, she will focus it on any characters who appear to be causing the most trouble and will keep going.
Vertigo: Invisible and amped, she will be using her power to induce mass nausea, disorientation and unconsciousness onto all characters who are untouched by our other members of the backline (such as Bender, the ducks, Zelda etc). This will take some characters out completely, but will make the more stubborn ones easy pickings for other attacks.
Out: Pretty much everyone (particularly Kong, Hiro, Multiple Man, John Shepard, Aragorn, Obelix, Gadget, Sam, Agatha, Bender, the ducks, Zelda etc).

The Invisible Frontline (Rayne, Stegron, Gaza & Barbarus)
First of all, we would like to stress that we are the ONLY team with characters that NO ONE can see (Gaza, Barbarus and Stegron), as everyone who has an item that can make them go invisible will be using it, and no one has the means to see characters who are visible using the Inviso-Belt or Ghost's Battlesuit.
Rayne: Invisible and utilising the maximum speed allowed in this fight via timeslow, Rayne will zip around chopping heads off. The only people who will be able to see her are Hiro and Agatha, and she is vastly more skilled than them (and since Hiro can't use his timestop to go any faster than the speed limit in this fight, he won't have ANY kind of advantage). Once she has easily dispatched of these 2, she will run around in what will seem like a blur to everyone else left alive (who will also be immobilised in various other ways) and decapitate them/shoot them all in the head.
Stegron: Invisible and shielded (in a shield that no one here can penetrate), Stegron will romp around using speeds to rival Spider-Man and super-strength to stomp our opponents. He will be using his claws and his dangerous tail. Note that his skin is bullet-proof so armies won't harm him even if the shield is breached (it won't be). He will be aiming for the major physical threats like Reich, Multiple Man and the toons.
Gaza: Using Ghost's Battlesuit to turn invisible, Gaza will run around blasting tanks and major threats, such as the toons and their items. Remember, this is an Iron Man foe's suit, the thing is gonna be very useful here - especially invisible.
Barbarus: Invisible and shielded (in a shield that no one here can penetrate), Barbarus will run, using the Sandals at the maximum speed allowed in this fight, wrecking everyone he can with his brutish physical strength and extra arms. He has fought the X-Men and Magneto - he can do alot of damage. He will aiming mostly for the animal characters on the opposing teams.
Out: Lots of people on foot (Hiro, Agatha etc), toons, animals and tanks etc.

Default KJS1982 & fudgekp's Strategy Part 2, AKA share with Stigma

The Pairs
Amidst the chaos caused by our other major attacks, these guys will operate as a clean-up mission.
Ka-Zar & Zabu: These 2 are not to be sniffed at. They have fought Spider-Man to a draw as a pair. Ka-Zar is very respected, very strong, has taken hits from Thanos and is a very intelligent fighter who has fought Daredevil and bested him and can fight in any of the 4 environments we have merged for this challenge.
They will lurk, using their notorious jungle stealth to take out any characters who aren't dealt with. If you're wanting names, they'll go for the likes of Goofy, Donald and Pork (who should be otherwise engaged/immobilised). But they will generally take out whoever they can, being very stealthy and avoiding attacks.
Devil Dinosaur & Moon-Boy: Moon-Boy isn't much of a threat, but he'll be riding Devil Dinosaur, which will give Devil Dinosaur added incentive to survive and protect him (they are close companions). Devil Dinosaur will do much the same as the above pairing of Ka-Zar and Zabu, only he'll be less subtle about it. DD will physically overwhelm the cannon-fodder and kill anyone who he sees as a threat to Moon-Boy and himself. In the middle of the mass-hysteria caused by our other moves, this will be less difficult than it sounds.
Out: Weaker, named characters.

Amphibius - Water-Based Threat
Amphibius: He will immediately take a giant leap (at speeds capable of slugging it out with Spider-Man) into the water (where he is equally as quick). Other moves will have caused massive damage under the water (such as the Tripod blasts and the moves coming from behind the shield), so Amphibius will be looking to destroy any undersea creatures who managed to survive the onslaught. He is basically our underwater mop-up plan.
Out: Underwater threats who weren't already defeated.

The Dinosaur Army
These guys will be sent out first, controlled by Lupo if necessary. They serve as cannon-fodder, and as an early distraction to easily allow our other moves to work from behind the shields, and to allow our skilled physical attackers (particularly the invisible ones) to attack skillfully and effectively. Note that alot of these dinosaurs have been cybernetically upgraded and will be hard to take down with conventional weapons therefore, and they have taken on people like Wolverine and Spider-Man. They will be hunting in packs and there will be attacks from the ground and the air. They will mostly be attacking the no-named characters in the other armies, but will take on whoever gets in their way.
Out: Alot more characters than you expected.

Notes
- As usual our characters will all do everything they can to avoid attacks and are capable of adapting to accommodate surprise moves.
- Sally, Barbarus, Gaza and Stegron can't be seen by ANYONE. Rayne and Vertigo can only be seen by 2 opposing characters (those wearing One Rings).
- There really isn't a physical force in this fight that can penetrate the Tripod shielding or the Inviso-Belt shielding.
- Everything that goes on without interruption behind the Tripod's shields should be enough to win this - and with the army, the invisibility and other moves on top of this, it should really be a comfortable win.

With numerous ranged attacks on our part specifically targetting Hiro as the prime target from behind the safety of our shielding (requires no movement, or no travelling of any kind, so occurs before Hiro's complex opening moves), he is defeated long before he tries to get into the Tripod.

That's pretty much the only thing that could conceivably compromise the Tripod, meaning that it is safe - as are the numerous range-attackers working their mojos inside.

There's also nothing to counter the invisibility of Gaza, Barbarus, Stegron and Sally.

And the only character that my team can't see - King Kong - is dealt with through numerous moves such as Lorelei's singing and Sally's casting.

Can't really see a reason how we could lose this.

We only really have the Tripod attacking air vehicles, but they are ineffectual against it, and the rival air fleets of our opposing teams ensure they take each other out as well.

Hiro's move isn't that complicated.


Hiro splits the talisman then Evil Hiro slows time for himself and Jimmy, grabs a multipleman dupe, and teleports into Sheppard's Jumper where he grabs a pistol. Considering the amount of space between our teams, (several kilometers). He will be able to get all of that done before your team can really do anything to stop him. Once he is in the jumper, he's invisble, so you'd have to target him within maybe 20 seconds from several kilometers away.

Lorelei's singing is hynotism which I told you was out, and you agreed, so Lorelei's singing isn't going to do anything

Heck, Whiteout's move would probably cause Shepard to crash.

Key Points for us:

Pretty sure we're safe here, really.

None of them are targeting Sheppard, though, and can't because they have no idea where he is! He's invisible, so you littarly can't see him a mile off, especily when he's a mile above you. Vertigo, and Whiteout aren't going to be just emitting thier powers, because that would effect your team as well, and even if they were, Sheppard is flying at an extremely high altitude so he should be out of range. Also Lorelei is powerless because her abilities are banned by the challenge.

They are also limited in numbers because "hey are more or less self-replicating, though each "generation" is less well-constructed than the last, preventing them from replicating endlessly" Kong and the rear guard should be able to spot Bender and co. before long, especily with my airforce looking as well.

Mutlipleman out numbered? by what, dingbots? any robots your team makes will be put down by his dalak machine guns, they took out a Dalak, so your dingbots shouldn't stand a chance against that kind of fire power. Especily since the more of them you make the worse of they get.
